S2 has had ICS for a while now, just depends on your individual carrier.

i still pay 15 euros a months and i have 3 gigs of data and unlimited voice, and i don't even come close to breaking that limit.

You realize Europe and other parts of the world have much better telecoms than North America right?
For non-subsidized phones in Canada, you're going to end up paying like $600 for a phone such as the Galaxy S3 and than pay $25 a month if you live in a major city (because these telecoms that offer $25 plans don't have enough towers so coverage is poor, reception is dodgy, and speed is poor). For a subsidized phone, you pay $0-$200 depending on the phone and pay $50+ a month for three years.

600? Closer to 700 plus tax lol. Also $25/month plan likely doesn't even get you a reasonable data plan. Many providers add an extra $10-15 for even 500mb of data per month. Oh Canada...
|
$10-$15 for 500mb? lol. iirc Bell's 500mb plan was $30 unless you were on retentions.
Mobilicity offers unlimited for $25 but of course this is a promo plan that isn't available 24/7.

If it's out before the end of September this year, then I'll get it over the S2. I'm just waiting for my current contract to end with Virgin before making the switch over to Orange - Got a Sony Ericsson Xperia mini atm, somehow ended up with a 24 month contract even though I asked for an 18 month one. wcyd.

Launch means launch.
Samsung will put the rumours and alleged leaks about its next flagship smartphone to rest when it unveils the handset in London later on Thursday.

here's a pic of a leaked supposed S3 screen protector placed over a galaxy S2! 4.8" screen doesn't look too big then? phone seems same width but just a lil longer.

|
well, i only can tell you, that if the screen is bigger then 4,3" then its useless i own a samsung galaxy s which is great phone and if it only had a little bit more ram (512mb is not enough for android), i would not care about a new phone
but it seems that android producer for some fucking reason over do it with screen size, so i might go with the new iphone even though it has worser OS

Oh man, didn't know it's gonna be released so early. Time to find a buyer for my SGS2
