I typically just wear H&M and American Apparel V-Necks (Various Colors) with some 511 Levis and Asics. Since it starts to rain a bit, I always have a hoodie available or chilly nights, I typically have a cardigan with me (H&M, AA, or something from Buffalo Exchange). Now, I really own one pair of shoes (I have some Nike SBs although they make my feet look clownish in the tight pants), but I'm trying to expand my collection just a tad bit. So any recommendations of comfortable shoes? Also, any other options during the hot summer days that will come sooner than I realize? I'm not a fan of tank tops or sleeveless.
On the right track. You defiantly want to ditch the Asics for at least a classier sneaker. But I would recommend a nice brown leather oxford shoe if you wear mainly jeans. If you wear shorts a lot, maybe a loafer. Also jeans and a T-shirt is cool and nice but dont do it every day. Mix it up with polos, and button downs. Maybe chinos instead of jeans everyday. Button downs are good even in the summer, I find I'm cooler in a nice lightweight white button down then a dark t shirt on a sunny day.

If you're alright with using secondhand clothes, go to a thrift store. You can usually find some quality stuff there for a very low price. It is kind of hit and miss, though. You've just got to be lucky.

It depends how tight you mean. Would you mind giving a round sum? If not, that's cool. Don't want to pry open your personal life.

I know alot of people on TL are asian and/or like asian fashion, so here's a good site with lots of clothes for cheap, they deliver pretty much everywhere in the world for free, I ordered 2 times from this site and I haven't been disappointed so far!

the fits on their clothing is really deceptive and the quality of the clothing on there is inconsistent. i haven't really heard of many good things about this site, so buyer beware i guess.

From what I can tell, most of the Korean clothes you can buy online are cheap quality. :/

I would like some good suits but I'm short, 173cm so whatever I get will look ridiculous as my legs + upper body is the same length lol...

You mean you were in Korea when you bought it and it was 19$ !?
Even the cheapest ones I can find are around 70-80 but they never look the way I want them to.

"Relaxed fit" is a euphemism for "big dude jeans;" if you're a skinny guy, they're gonna bag on you. I don't necessarily recommend skinny jeans, but you don't want your jeans to bag halfway to your knees because you don't have enough ass to fill them out, either.
As long as your clothes fit, you can wear just about anything and be going for something (casual-wise, anyway). What determines whether you're pulling it off? Having the right shoes. Seriously, ask a chick. Your shoes determine whether you're fashionable.
I absolutely despise all notions of fashion but this post amused me because, until about a month ago, I had no clue what relaxed fit versus fitted (...???) ...fit...meant. I always wondered why I could never find shirts (and I guess jeans) that didn't make me look like a balloon. Clothing manufacturers should really just write "fat guy shirt" or "skinny guy shirt." Headaches would be saved.
I do have another purpose for coming here: does anyone know of a good-ish, cheap producer of like, fitted shirts one would wear with a suit? Now that I know I can buy shirts that are actually designed for skinny persons I need to acquire like, a lot of them. Cheap in this case being less than $50.
Furthermore, there is currently an advertisement for a men's suit shop at the top of Team Liquid. This is uncanny!

Hey guys, any recommendations for places I can buy casual oxford shirts online?

Charter Club is a relatively cheap brand that has decent button-up shirts. I have a plain white one that fits pretty well. It's not fitted, but its more fitted than most other shirts I've seen.
J-Crew usually has some pretty good deals at their outlet stores on good looking, decent quality button-ups, KJC.

This. I learned alot about style from that board. If I have to give one advice, it's to buy a nice pair of jeans before anything else. APC New Standards are cheap (for raw denim) and look great on anyone.
Oh, and lift weights. Clothes will look that much better on you. (i.e Idra).
Edit: Never buy J. Crew at retail price. I like the hipster, blue collar look, but the price is not worth it. Always buy second hand from sales, ebay, or styleforum marketplace. Superfuture is cool too if you like the urban ninja look.

For a nice cheap slim fit shirt wait till jos a bank has one of thier buy one get two free sales and get traveler slim fit shirts. During the sales it will come to like 30 to 35 a shirt. I can't think of any place you can consistently get nice dress shirts for less then 50 but you defitnaly can if you wait for a sale

Jamesr12, thanks for posting this thread. I've recently started to abandon my "t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers" look, and this thread has been a very helpful resource for me in deciding how best to fill my wardrobe. Props to you.
