I wear this almost every day. + Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]() ![]() I think it's awesome. A simple slim-fit t-shirt and a nice pair of jeans is an everyday goto that everyone should keep in mind. Speaking of... I love Diesel jeans. Their other clothes can be hit or miss, but their jeans are the best. And they are very well built. I have pairs I still wear from 6-7 years ago and they age well and look awesome. Most of the jeans they carry are super washed, which IMO is awful, but if something like this fits you right then theyd be good. http://store.diesel.com/DIESEL/detail/tskay/230223AD/cod10/36076898QP/mm/125/agerange/Adult/mm/125 I have always just worn levis, can get three pairs of levis for one pair of diesels and they fit me better. But IMO theres nothing wrong with dropping 200 on jeans. You can easily wear a pair of jeans 400 times making it 50 cents per wear, so if diesel fits you I approve. And yeah jeans and a T can be good, but those shoes, ew ew ew. It's funny because I completely agree with you - the super washed out look is really bad. If you can make your way to an actual Diesel store, however, they have lots of dark/solid washes in almost every model. There aren't a ton of Diesel stores though, so getting to one can be tough and when you get there they may not have the jeans you want in the cut/size/wash you want... but when you find a perfect pair... man ![]()

What i mean is do you wear a gold watch with a black suit? Or a silver watch? or do you pair up a gray suit with gold? I'm mostly just curious as i plan on buying a nice watch soon and i want it to be able to fit all occasions. Match the band of the watch to your belt and shoes formal watches generally have leather not metal bands. Match the casing of the watch to your belt buckle and tie bar, tie chain, or cuff links if present. Any suit can go with any color casing.

I know that in most cases, more expensive clothes look better, fit better, and last longer but $200 for a pair of jeans is just too much. H&M has clothes which are cut to fit very well, and are very inexpensive. They don't use the best quality materials, so the clothes won't last forever, but they are definitely a good bet if you are on a budget and want some stylish clothing. You can find them in most large malls. I just picked up a blazer there which fits perfect for $60. Someone mentioned shoes to look for besides sneakers. If you head to discount stores like DSW or Nordstrom Rack, you can find a nice pair of Clark's Desert Boots for like $65. They're a nice shoe and will put you a step above the rest at a very reasonable price.

That's good advice, but really just don't wear a g-shock to your sisters wedding, lol. It's better to have a nice watch that goes with everything (silver, gold, and stainless cases with black or neutral faces, black bands are great, but it's hard to mis-match a lighter brown as well (darker browns can be tricky) and metal bands can be okay even with formal wear, just as long as they're not too crazy; in the real world you can get away with just about anything anyway) than buy a bunch of less nice ones. A watch can be a showpiece as much as a timepiece, so don't worry about it "matching" what you're wearing as much as it being something that you would want to wear. That being said, if you have the money for several watches, that's awesome too!

I look up super overpriced styles on e-tailers, find the ones I like then print pictures of them. Then on my annual trip back to China, I pick up everything for 1/5 to 1/10 the price. Win?

I would suggest this youtube channel, it helped me so much in the past months on what kind of suits I should buy and what pants in suitable for me. He has an awesome personality as well. For example:

As for jeans, you can't really go wrong with Levis for price. They don't keep up with the most modern styles all the time, but they have plenty of styles that continue to work. Other large design firms like Calvin Klein make decent stuff for an okay price, but I get sick of them putting their label on everything. Go to an outlet if you can and pick up some of the overstock stuff for cheap. Elaborating on what the other guy said, a well-fitted pair of pants will always look better than a poorly fitted one, no matter what the price.

Sometime you will walk out with nothing other times you will get some nice clothes for cheap they inventory changes so much at those stores, go once a week for awhile and you are sure to find some good items.

Thrift stores are the best. My GF found a Versace suit that had never been worn ($400+ USD) for like 5 bucks, and she bought me a Life After Denim flannel (90$) for like $10.
