so i ordered a thing on grailed and the guy still havent shipped it. last correspondence was saturday saying he'd ship it monday, i said cool. messaged him earlier asking if he's sent yet.
on the paypal statement, does the cash go directly to the dude (and so i have his email) or through a grailed intermediary?
ill probs wait the 10 days and then get the refund if he never shows, should i do something else?
re: coats
what temp are you wanting one for? from experience, my peacoat stops being useful below 30F, and i switch to all down and some themal layers depending on how far i'm traveling.

wait til like friday, and file a chargeback claim on paypal with all the details if he still doesn't respond
you'll get your money back (will probably be a credit card credit sum iirc)

I don't need a super serious Antarctic coat or anything like that. I'm not walking outside for extended period of time or anything. NYC winters, brief walks outside here and there.
Can't really do anything super bulky or sporty, since i need to be able to wear it over a suit or something.

Snuggy.
Not bulky or sporty, will fit over a suit. Keeps you warm.

Don't get anything from the mall, so no huge boss, burberry, etc. Look through traditional clothing sites listed in the OP and filter by outerwear. I definitely like some of the stuff that Suspension Point sells, and I'm going to be in Montreal within the next few weeks, so that could be a great opportunity to try some stuff on etc. Thanks for the advice! i forgot who had the kka coat but that seems like what you're looking for actually now that i read your original post idk if it's warm enough
Yeah, it would fit the bill except 1) I can't fit a suit jacket underneath because of how slim it's cut 2) it won't be warm enough since you can only wear like a shirt or a thin sweater
Of course it might just be my build and I should have sized up but I feel that it would've been too long everywhere if I did. I actually wore it first time on Friday
Question unrelated to coats: in first pic below I have massive hips that then start tapering super heavily. What can I do to minimise that look? Do I need to go for a straighter cut, or is it a posture problem or something? I'm wearing qlo stretch skinnies below for reference.

do squats and wear tapered but not slim pants, I have the same thing.

a wider stance might help. you could also buy straighter cuts and have them tailored to taper after the knee. that way it looks more like a straight tapering rather than a bulge.
i've seen those acne coats in person (but didn't try them on) and they looked kinda big. granted i don't ever have to layer

Which acne cut would work best in that case - thin? Town? Don't really like the low rise on Max much.

Does anyone have advice on cool-weather gym wear? I train aerial/acrobatics/parkour in a casual environment at a local gym here in the bay area. The weather is getting a bit colder and I'm finding my typical shorts & tank or tee to be a bit too cold for the run there and back.
Here's a typical fit for a training session:

As you can see, I have a slim & athletic build, & my current wardrobe trends to the slim side in an attempt to compliment my figure. I'd like to expand my almost exclusively close-fitting activewear to include some looser pieces. I'm looking for sweats that will drape and flow nicely during movement (vaulting, flipping, etc..) and possibly a jacket for warming up. Big bonus if they can be worn to the office (I'm a software engineer at a fashion company) the office environment is super casual, I've worn the tank pictured above to meetings with the CTO and didn't get any negative comments or odd looks.
In general, what are people's thoughts on wearing activewear to the office?
Nice looking sweats are becoming commonplace in engineering offices, and personally I'm a huge fan. I like to be comfortable at the office, and I don't feel any pressure from my team or the CTO to dress formally. That being said I don't think I'd wear sweats while interviewing a potential hire for my team or to meeting with board members.
