I guess you could say that this counts as hacking....
A couple years ago, I used to play a shitload of WarCraft 3. Now, I am talking about the original Frozen Throne, no DOTA shit. I was never particularly good at it, and neither were my friends, but that didn't stop us from becoming incredibly competitive about who would win in a 1v1. Our games would last up to around three hours (no joke), because we wanted to have a long-ass game, usually with 100/100 supply and level 8-10 heroes. We would also go on the 12 player maps, since there are more creeps and farther distances. Basically, we sucked (playing as orcs and spamming 5 layers of watch towers to the chokes to your base FTW).
Anyway, I became pretty handy-dandy with the map editor. So of course what I did, was load up the 12 player map "Divide and Conquer" and put in a trigger that if the player with the name string "CyDe" stop in an exact location on the map and typed the chat string "pwnt" or "lolzor," his hero would level up and the best item in the game would spawn. So I did this... multiple times. To prove some points to my friends: a) I was much better than them (typical adolescent shit). and b) I was an uber leet haxor (this was more for myself. But more typical adolescent shit).
So I mean, technically that is a "hack," although I am much more tempted to call it "cheating" and "acting like a jack off." It was all in good fun of course (it wasn't like we were betting or anything), but it is kind of depressing to see my self-esteem relied on who was the better WarCraft 3 player.
...
I have to admit though I pretty proud of my leet map editor skills .
EDIT: Oh I forgot about when I played WoW. I did use the Pyrox Fish Bot, because I really didn't have the time nor lack of brain cells to level up my fishing. Fuck that, the game sucked enough time out of me already, fishing would pretty much involve me sitting for ten hours, jerkin it with one hand, and clicking on the goddamn floater with the other.
The fish bot ended up not working after a while, but I got my fishing up to like 287... a clear indicator to the average WoW player that I am more of loser than they are.
I've used hacks before, but I was like 10 at the time. There was a hack in delta force that would let you jump like 20000 feet in the air without dying on falls, and could fire your weapons instantly. I could jump high into the sky and fire 26 grenades in lines carpet bombing the enemy spawn. Shenanigans ensued!
no i have not. I did use an in game ladder glitch in Socom 1 (ps2 online) tho that allowed you to get "under" the map and shoot your opponents. I only used it to kill opposing players who were abusing it. most glitches and hacks were fixed in socom 2 (socom 1 was very glitchy).
I hacked in sc when I was hmm.. 13? Stack hack was kinda fun, having 20 or so cannons at the front of your base merged into 1. Also used the name spoofer on Asia server a few times, called myself SlayerS_`BoxeR` etc ^_^;;
This was years ago tho, don't even use cheats in offline games now. The exception being using operation cwal/show me the money etc when working out forge expand placements in single player.

I remember accidently taking a screen shot of the autobuyer and posting in my page. Needless to say someone found it and about 30 different threads went up screaming blood murder, as I was kind of a big name in Neopets. (God that sounds so pathetic)
Haven't touched crap like that sense. Only cheats I use are in singleplayer when I'm bored
You bastard. I RS'ed my soul out the right way and still only made a few mil.
I was always convinced most of the big names used autobuyers though, lol. Did the threads go up in the BD board? Hahahaha, oh god, that was the shit.
The only cheat I ever did for multiplayer (sort of) was using Rare Candy cheats (Cinnabar Island, PC duplication, etc.) in Pokemon to get Lvl 100 Pokemon and using them in fights with my friends.
I use the thing that allows you to know who hasn't downloaded the map in Broodwar.
And always used a maphack in Diablo 2. In fact, I don't know anyo serious D2 players that did not. It was just so normal and natural... mostly because the game has been reduced to pure farming.
EDIT: I forgot that I botted a bit in Diablo 2, too. I barely consider it hacking anyway. In fact, I barely consider Diablo 2 multiplayer a game, and regret wasting so many hours farming shit to trade for runes, while dupers just made them out of thin air and raped the economy...
And I actually hacked in Diablo 1 with the good ol' Bobafett trainer.

That's when you get a bot + get all the required equipment for bot ---> a few other chars on separate accounts+ get extra keys ---> get those other ones up... and run all the bots...

it's basically starcraft with multicommand and automine
Anyway, I used maphack in D2 like everyone else. Baal runs were a real bitch without one.
I've raided Mephisto like a little bitch. Perhaps it was because I wasn't using any hacks at all and he was the easiest one to defeat and had shortest route.
My steam account is still banned from some servers...now let me explain myself! I used an aimbot and wallhack in cs 1.6..it was a "all-in-one" hack. Now it's ironic because a few weeks after I stopped using it altogether, I get falsely accused of hacking and subsequently banned from my fav server
Oh and I used a pindlebot and MH in D2. Never got caught, but never got anything good either.
Oh and I used to have a hack that detected if others were allied/allied vision in SC1. Useful to stop backstabbing in compstomps.
Oh and finally I made my own drunk hack in Guild Wars. Pretty easy to make and again, never got caught. This was mostly to save my own time, not to cheat persay.
Oh and similar to someone who posted above.. in WC3 I modified a lot of my favorite maps to have certain phrases that would give me benefits... and then I'd re-encrypt these maps so noone else could figure out what the phrase was. I'd type these things in observer chat to activate them. And if certain maps had cheat phrases already built into the map...let's just say I'd go to extreme lengths to figure out what the phrase was (x hero siege, pimp hero d, etc.). Damn I had so much spare time when I was little.
About 2 years ago there was an honor bot going round in WoW where it would queue up for a battleground and run around like an idiot until it was over, it was so popular you could spot every person using one at the start of every BG. This was when they had special weekends to grind honor, where you would get double honor and get so many honor points. I used one for about a day in AV weekend, fuck that battleground. Eventually Blizzard caught on and banned the honor bot and added features to ban players for acting idol or weird in bg's.
OH shi-- I forgot about how a friend and I would bot each other around a MUD in which botting is frowned upon (trigger zombie style). Not to mention I was and am still buddy buddy with the admin. Although this doesn't hurt other players directly (pvp disincentivized in this MUD) it does interfere with the game 'ecosystem' if you will, making it possible to grind xp for two people with one person at the wheel.

Fishing being essential for raiding and me not having endless time to spend. Consider it justified and would do it again if terrible game design forced me to do things like this again.
Auction House....? Most people I know who fish bot, do it when they're not playing... But when they play all they do is hang out in major cities, which is pathetic.(Herp Derp I need fish... But I hate fishing, so I'm going to waste time running around org and claim that I don't have time to fish) I did my own fishing myself, I found it pretty fun. (Compared to hanging out in Org)
I used a maphack in Diablo 2 and a dupe hack for Diablo 2...I was 8 and kept being told that it was "normal" to do so until I got yelled at in-game by someone who told me it was illegal and I didn't want to go to jail.... My older brother has always really been into hacks, which is why I had those hacks in the first place... I would never go out of my way to hack, I also really hate cheaters/hackers/botters now.
At least it was orgrimmar, not some pesky alliance camp.
I stopped playing sc1 mainly because of the map hacks, what was the drophack all about ?
