Lite maphack in D2 obviously, just like everyone else, made the game much more enjoyable.

Botted D2 wayyyyy late in the games run tryin to generate some FG that me and friends could use in D3, that turned out to be a bit optimistic timelinewise. Then one of my buddies scammed a kid on JSP for about 12k and laundered the money by dumping it in all our accounts, this was unprovable but it turned out the kid was personal friends with Njaguar (creator of D2JSP), so every single one of our accounts was instantly banned with no inquiry. That was the end of that.

Downloaded hack pack for CSS and played with it for about 6 minutes before becoming bored and getting rid of it, hacking in FPS is so stupid boring, I really just thought the program was cool.

I once used Jamella for an open BN char in D2, but only for funsies.

Was really fun to see like 10 guys around me trying to actually hit me. But only for like 30 mins, got boring pretty fast. Open BN was so shitty....

aimbotted for a week in mw2 2 years after release and got bored with it. Diablo 1 and 2 map hacked mainly to save time.

I cheated on Americas army once, I only did it on that super big bridge level with the high fog and was a giant stalemate. This was when the game first came out back in the early 2000's. Never cheated again. I used to play Day of Defeat competitively and people thought I cheated all the time, not just me but my team as well. We made it from CAL-IM to CAL-I in 2 seasons had multiple sponsors and was a top tier clan. Other than that I've only had people accuse me of using modded controllers on xbox but that wasn't true.

Fishing bots in WoW.

Fishing being essential for raiding and me not having endless time to spend. Consider it justified and would do it again if terrible game design forced me to do things like this again.

I used a maphack one game just to see what it was like in bw...felt like it made the game boring and i just threw the game so i wasnt screwing over the other guy by making what units that were countered by what he was making (lol mass mutas vs mass gols).

There's a game on neopets where you can make a script for tug of war ( spam all the keys you need via script... ) that's how the top 100 = max points... on that game...

I used aimbot for CS way back, for a couple of months until I got banned on steam for a year. Was in 2003-4 I think
I have also used fishbots in WoW.
and once tried a speedhack in some MMO that I can't even remember the name on, for a weekend.

Now I wouldn't use hacks in online/lan gaming against others since I know how annoying it can be to play against but I might be tempted to try trainers for some games now and again

Used to use hacks for Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2.
That game was simply way too easy to hack in. Me as a 12 year old could quite easily mod the machine gun to fire rockets instead of bullets in multiplayer, and I'm not in any way gifted at programming.

I used a wall hack in CS, but that's about it. I found it boring. I can't really see why hacking is so popular in MW3, when ranks don't really matter. :/

Maphack in Diablo 2 for MFing hell mephisto and rushing people through act 2. I've done Mephisto for long periods without maphack and it makes me want to cry

I can guarantee that far more people have hacked than they think, as anyone who played Pokemon Red or Blue and messed around with missingno technically hacked. That's it for me though :D

Auction House....? Most people I know who fish bot, do it when they're not playing... But when they play all they do is hang out in major cities, which is pathetic.(Herp Derp I need fish... I used a maphack in Diablo 2 and a dupe hack for Diablo 2...I was 8 and kept being told that it was "normal" to do so until I got yelled at in-game by someone who told me it was illegal and I didn't want to go to jail.... My older brother has always really been into hacks, which is why I had those hacks in the first place... I would never go out of my way to hack, I also really hate cheaters/hackers/botters now.

Not once because I play a (multiplayer) game to compete with other players and have fun and well half of the enjoyment is gone for me if I were to hack :p

Really didn't make the game fun, threw em away once they lost their luster. Never thought about using a hack again, made it seem like the game wasn't worth playing.

Oh, I did use an external script in order to automate fishing in WoW back in vanilla so I could fish the stonescale eels for defense pots, most people would call that a hack I guess.
