Maphack in d2, this goes for a lot of people I imagine. Also ran a pindlebot at one point, not sure if that counts.

Also bunch of quest cheats in gunz (spawning all the creeps in one area, invulnerability and massive pbaoe damage, basically clearing maps in like a second) to level up my new char to 50 after losing my first one due to forgetting login details

Pretty indifferent about both of those cases. First one was kind of a given, second was simply a workaround to recover my character.

maphack / lot of bots in diablo 2 and umm maphack in sc:bw but that was when i played fastest map possible. I even map hacked for a little while in dota way back in the day but thats cuz a lot of people did it at the time and i felt like it was the only way i could win haha. this was all before i turned 18 and grew the fuck up of course.

No but back when I was young and played CS 1.6 I was close to using it, I was playing some ranked games on a site and this guy cheated like there was no tomorrow. Even his teammates said it also, I got so angry after the games that I went searched on google for wallhacks but I calmed down before, and didn't download it. I think I quit playing for a couple of days though.

I used to play Vietcong and my videocard was pretty old and faulty. When i zoomed in with a sniper rifle i could see through walls and vegetation.
It wasn't really intentional, but i guess you could consider it a hack..

Totally agree, unless you had someone to rush you that is, god i miss those days with my 97 paladin with all the pro farming gear.

MH on diablo was like a must have thing to progress through the game unless you wanted to take a life time to complete it ;D

Starcraft: Drop Hack, Map Hack
Counterstrike: Map Hack, Wall Hack, Speed Hack, Aimbot, etc.
Gunbound: Aimbot
Maplestory: Vacuum Hack, Health/Mana Hack, Attack Speed/Damage Hack, Invulnerability, Botting
Every other MMORPG I ever played: Botting

Honestly, for every single game I played, if there was a hack, cheat or bot available, I've probably used it at some point or another...

Used to do it in single player up until BW when i realized i was only cheating myself, Haven't done it since. Same thing applies to online, Im sure its a rush the first few times as it was in SP but in the end you realize you only do it because your bad and the guy you just faced is actually better than you.

used hacks in D2 online, maphack, pickit, etc. It didn't even feel like cheating because most players used hacks or profited from them in other ways

Actually, this was the most hilarious part of it for me... ^^;; It doesn't really detract from your enjoyment when you don't really care about skill to begin with.

I scripted like a pro back in the day of UO. Spend half a day tracking down packmules, a runebook and making shovels; set up da home made mining script; Profitsss.

Now I think you just pay a monthly fee for UO and they send you a certificate of awesome and tell you you've beaten the game, brave adventurer.
