Then I played medal of honor: allied assault, and my friend sent me wall hacks and some lean mod that made me lean in that direction when I pressed A and D. It basically made me look like a banana swirling left and right when I was fighting with someone. 1/20 were a hacker or an aim botter in that game though, so I don't feel bad in the slightest to be honest.
Have you ever used hacks in a game? - Page 6

Did the threads go up in the BD board? Hahahaha, oh god, that was the shit. The only cheat I ever did for multiplayer (sort of) was using Rare Candy cheats (Cinnabar Island, PC duplication, etc.) in Pokemon to get Lvl 100 Pokemon and using them in fights with my friends. Yess!!! Oh my god it was hilarious. BD forum was like Battlenet forums except it also had the occasional six year besides just straight 80% 13 year olds And yeah I was in several pretty established guilds and most of the good people in them autobot or got extremely lucky with something. (buy a super attack pea with dubloons from the one shop, make 200 mil and be set for life -.-.) I mean, there was just no way those big guys could RS THAT much.

Was a competitive played in cod 1 but sometimes we'd flip on developer commands during scrims against certain teams and just no clip to the most ridiculous spots or speed plant bombsites for shits and giggles, its was fucking hilarious because some people thought we were that good being in cal-i. Also back in cod 1 days me and one of my teammates use to always scrim with pugs in cs1.6 so we decided one day to shit around with aim bot in a few scrims. aim bot got pretty old really fast though, but damn could you do insane shit with it. double wall headshot? no problem! I cheat in SP like a mofo, i usually get to bored of SP to beat it legit. I think SC2 is the only rts i beat legit ever because i didnt know about cheats lol...

edit: oh, if we're doing single player also, I admit I get fed up with the amount of 'survive x minutes' missions in BW/WC3/SC2 and tend to just 'there is no cow level' them from time to time ^_^. Outside of those maps I haven't used any in single player.

When I was young and naive and was first starting to play broodwar, I swore everyone I played with/against did it, so I started to use a map hack in 2v2 fastest map games. I grew out of this pretty quickly and started playing legit. Final Fantasy 11 Online: (incoming wall o' text) I was a leader in one of the games most dominant linkshells(FFXI's name for a guild). There were 3 mobs known as, "The 3 Kings" which spawned once every 21-24 hours. Every 3-7 days of normal spawns, there was a chance of the next spawn to be the HQ version, a harder version with more rare/better drops. These mobs were highly coveted and contested for and the instant it would spawn there would be between 40-100 people spamming abilities of all kinds to claim it for their linkshell. For a long while, the best way to win claim of these was to edit the game files and replace .dat's of passive mobs around the area so that in game, you could not even see them, so that once the king would spawn, it was all you could see and all you could target, rather than having to cycle targets until finding what you were looking for. Then came a nifty little program which could read the packets coming to the client from the server and could claim mobs before they were even visible to players. It was well known that any hardcore linkshell competing for these mobs was using this. As such myself and many others within my own linkshell used it as well. I long wished that I was the only one in possession of this program, since I wanted so bad for my linkshell to dominate every other which contested us. If I had my way, no one other than my own would have ever killed these mobs. There was also another program called FleeTool which allowed players move so fast that most people would never even be able to see them run past. It also made it possible to set waypoints in the world in which you could teleport to at the click of a button. My only use of this tool was in an area where in order to spawn a mob you had to search many areas for a "???" that would spawn randomly and change position after a very brief period of time. So I'd set waypoints at each possible spawn and teleport around to find it. The games GM's eventually took notice of all the people who used this tool and started suspending accounts and I got a warning for my use of it and never used it again. Those are the only hacks/cheats I've used in an online setting. I find it funny in a sense that I was never accused of using cheats/hacks in either of those games, but during my Battlefield 2 run I was accused and banned a countless number of times for simply being good. Now that I am older and more mature, I will never hack/cheat in a game.

World of Warcraft botted for 6years and in the very early days abused duping hacks that allowed you to DE an item an infinite number of times with the item never being destroyed Used to have a hacked PS2 that allowed any region play and gameshark like cheats on all games, I used it to play all the Resident Evil games with a skin of Agent Scully for the main chars.

I had the full paid bot it would auto mine/herb/arch etc. for you, PvP for you and of course fish for you... that was the free one though. It was a real quality bot though never got banned for it, and I would use the gold that I got from botting, sell it for real money and then pay for my WoW subscription and the bot subscription, I didn't have to pay for WoW for a whole year or so. I don't really feel that bad about it since it wasn't a direct mulitplayer game like starcraft or any other FPS is, if that makes any sense : /
