I'm not going to do this yet again because I already argued with baal about it but pitbulls are not inherently evil or mean. People create mean pitbulls.

gryff is right. now i dont know of the credibility here but
i bought my dog, its an english bull terrier. the guy we bought it from said pitbulls are bred DOWN from my dog. i mean, my dog is no fucking joke, solid muscle and its bite is insane psi. totally could take your fuckin hand off. but its the sweetest dog in the world. so... also, i my 2 year old half-brother has lived with it since birth. we gave away a chocolate lab instead of the bull terrier. the lab was more dangerous that stupid lardass.

But see the thing is... any dog with even a modicum of the self-preservation instinct would have made a tactical retreat.
