The abuse card is way overplayed in court, like a woman can even plain out lie about abuse and very likely the entire court will side with her in a case even though she is the guilty side. 2. In divorce battles, even if the man can prove the wife cheated and stuff, chance are the woman will get the better end just because this is the way it works! There are probably way more examples than the 2 I described. Exactly what I think. Women today talk about equality when everything is already good to their side. If a woman got her genitals mutilated everyone out there would say that's a barbarian act. This is not CBS only, the world's "balance" is heavily turning for one side. As for the incident, I'd kill the woman that did this to me. Time in jail? Worth it.

I can see some humour in the role reversal / bat shit crazyness of it; I've laughed at worse jokes. In the UK Frankie Boyle had a sketch show on TV.... if you can laugh at that you can laugh at anything. Just depends how seriously you take life / what your sense of humour is like. All the comparisons you're making are terrible. Rape etc... is not the same (although there's plenty of jokes about rape). agree. role reversals or comparing it to rape and dead babies does not work in this situation.

They must facepalm so hard when they see idiots constantly making them look bad. I agree. The problem, though, is that feminists as a group do not call the idiots out. If you're not willing to condemn those in your group who are out of line, then you implicitly accept any misrepresentations of your group that may result. Rape and dead babies might not be good comparisons, but female genital mutilation is spot-on. Again, men wouldn't dare to laugh at that on national TV, and if they did, feminists would scream for blood until they got pulled from the air.

Sounds like David Kim needs to nerf women... cause that shit's IMBA!!! actually, a buff to taking men's problems seriously would be more welcome... So, are men who advocate male excellency (to put it lightly) called Masqulists? wow, that is a lot like Masochists... ![]()

Allow me then, since my ban has since finished, to publicly denounce teamliquid and this thread, as not representing men, so that the hypocrisy, sexism, general lack of education, misrepresentation, self-entitlement, oversensitivity, lack of empathy for real problems, selfishness, and innumerable false claims does not apply to myself. I have to do this, why? It's not my responsibility to be your baby sitter, and while I have tried (and been banned for it), it makes no difference what I denounce. Your positions are not mine, (thank christ). Ignorant people will continue being ignorant, and no amount of political distancing matters in the end.

Doubles standards exist in this world, because we let them. Pointing out hypocrisy is a must. I do believe you're quoting TheAmazingAtheist, he did a video on it. - it's pretty good.

Women on the view don't represent women. Good job finding one anecdotal job where women make more than men, and failing to see the irony: they make more because men want to watch them.

Yes, everyone listen to the man who approves of murder, and thinks he can summarize "women today" as having "everything" "already good". Not only is he saint, but he's also extremely well informed.

I am assuming that most of you saying these things have not lived as a female and thus you cannot speak on behalf of all females and their experiences.

BUT saying that this is evidence of feminism gone awry and that women have it oh so easy these days is pretty ridiculous. I am sorry you have to come to this thread and state what should be obvious to everyone. Being a female in a scientific work setting I can tell you that there are still many people that judge myself and my other female coworkers entirely on our looks and think of us as incapable of doing certain jobs due to our sex.I do not feel as though I have complete equality rather less "the upper hand" as many of you have put it. I am assuming that most of you saying these things have not lived as a female and thus you cannot speak on behalf of all females and their experiences. Ugh. I was hoping nobody would do this. The last thing we need is a "OH YEAH WELL I HAVE TO SHAVE EVERYDAY" debate about which side has it worse :p

I am challenging the idea that 4 women on a talk show represent what every female is experiencing
