I'm a guy so I don't care about those women laughing with the matter.
The penis being cut-off however... Holy shit crazy woman, don't do that :p
|
Btw. We need a name for guys who stand up for mens rights. So the opposite to feminist would be a "masculinist"? doesn't sound right. Well they can be equally annoying.

i love dark humor.
so no i don't have a problem with the show, ofc as a male, even as a human with selfrespect, i would not watch such a dumb show. (lol idra IRL)
to sum it up, as a Louis CK watcher, comedy needs no borders, BUT comedy needs to be smarter than this <.<

I'm of the opinion that you can make fun of basically everything as long as everyone agrees underneath the jokes on the morally wright thing. I don't know the show or the women talking, so I can't really tell if that is a given here so I'd rather not comment on whether this was wrong or not. On a subjective matter, I didn't find the show very funny...

lots of ppl talking, few of them know, soul of the woman, was created below~~

so the massacre in norway could be funny? no, for me somethings can never be funny or appropiate, and this comming from a guy that can have some pretty dark/twisted humour at times.

"The Talk" isn't that just another shitty version of "The View"
I always thought that was just a show for rambling about fashion, celebrities, and gossiping.
I'm not offended because I don't take anything those women say seriously on that show. Wife cutting the husband's penis off is a bit too far though. There has to be some reason for his wife to go that far to cut his penis off over a divorce.... got damn
Why can't a divorce end smoothly

Is that Sharon Osbourne? Anyways, disgusting jokes.

Death penalty.
What would be said if a man mutilated his wife's genitals in similar circumstances? No one would laugh, that's for sure. Hopefully she's away for a while. QFT.

I almost threw up when I read the story. Having someone joke about that it fucking disgusting beyond belief. Chick, man. Don't fucking get it.
|
weird....just last night i watched the movie "hard candy" with ellen page
|
well that show's dead now.

I really don't see what the big deal is. For one thing, who the hell cares what Sharon Osbourne says? I'd never even heard of her before this. She's clearly an idiot, as is anyone who actually takes what she has to say seriously. All you're doing by whining about this is increasing her ratings and lending her credibility.
It was just a joke. They don't seriously think that a woman cutting off a man's penis is acceptable, they're just laughing at a ridiculous situation. I honestly react similarly. The act is just so absurd and unfathomable that I can't help but laugh a little bit. I react the same way when I hear about violence towards women.
I laugh at jokes about domestic violence. I'm not really offended by jokes about rape. They're both in poor taste, as is Sharon Osbourne's, but that doesn't mean they can't be funny. Every time I hear some feminist complain about Howard Stern or Don Imus I want to tell her to relax, they're just jokes. It's the same thing here.
My biggest problem with this, though, is that so many people are more outraged that Sharon Osbourne made a joke about it than the fact that it actually happened. Her stupid comments totally overshadow the actual tragedy here. What some stupid woman said on daytime TV is not news.

Ever hear of Ozzy Osbourne?

That is disgusting. Too gruesome. Both the act and the reaction from 'The Talk'.

Sure, but I'm not a fan and I had no idea who he was married to.
