Haven't been to a bachelor party but.....

Strippers are the standard/metagame for bachelor parties at this point. I personally dont need one at mine, but if I did it would surely be for all y best friends to enjoy.

I'm a Bachelor party veteran and here are some thoughts:

- a Bachelor party without a stripper sucks... because everyone expects a stripper and masses of alcohol. if something is missing at least half of the people will be pissed

- don't force the groom to take a lapdance, but don't cancel it either. let someone else sit on the chair, but definirely get a stripper

- collect money. with 10 dudes you're gonna drink at least for around 700 bucks, probably more.

A 3-day bachelor party with 15 guys?

Get a stripper. Get two if you can.
Make it known that there is a 3 day party going on so a few girls will show up on their own.
if you dont want that, rent projectors and have people bring their consoles and games in addition to movies.

My sister had a male stripper on her party, but she didn't really like it. I guess its different for females.

When we threw a party for my friend we didn't resort to strippers because he wasn't really that type of a guy. We bought him a private flying lesson on small airoplane and then went to a cabin to drink and barbeque after some cute humiliating tasks involving guitar playing for beers at a random bar.

Been to my brother's bachelor party and we had no strippers, of course we were so drunk that it probably would have been irrelevant. As far as I know, it's pretty common to hire strippers for Bachelor Parties.

I actually watched this on Urban Legends a few years ago, when a stripper was invited to a bachelor party, and the guy who was getting married ended up dead. Turns out he was suffocated to death due to lack of air while having his head inbetween her boobs...

It's ok to invite a stripper, but I wouldn't. A stripper can lead to awkward situations if people are uncomfortable with her. To be safe, do not book a stripper unless you are positive the groom is into that kind of thing.

I personally wouldn't. But it depends how you and your friends are. If they wouldn't feel comfortable with it, then it probably wouldn't be a good idea. Ask for their opinions

My brother's bachelor party also had no strippers, and we still had a kickass time. If you really have to ask if it's okay, then you should probably talk it over with the future groom and the other guys who'll be at the party. Surprises can be great but they can also be disastrous. And to everyone saying something along the lines of "this is his last night of freedom" That's a horrible way for anyone to view a marriage. These two people CHOSE to spend their lives together and trust each other. And I always thought bachelor parties were for celebrating that.

Just a joke. Well not really.

But anyway, in my opinion (which lacks experience) it should be up to your brother. You know him better than we do, if he isn't into this kind of thing, then don't do it. But if he is okay with it and says it's fine, then it is his fault if his wife gets mad, not yours. It's more based on the person, not an obligation to follow tradition.

Well, coming from somebody who's seen the worst case scenario... yes, but get them somewhere reputable.

This one time, in the army, for a guy's bachelor party, the wrong guy was put in charge of planning it. To save money for booze, he hired two girls from the cheapest escort service in town for strippers, since real strippers would have charged more since they wouldn't have been expecting... supplementary income? Anyways, long story short, me and another dude decided to go to Denny's because the girls that got sent were, to say the least, not the most attractive.

Anyways, we go back by to get my car, and the cops are pulling up, apparently someone robbed the hookers, the hookers called the cops... can you say shit hit the fan? Luckily nobody ended up in jail, but it was a weird night, I think a couple of guys got the clap, too.
