Hello TL'ers,
because I'm a TLForum&Blog lurker since quite a long time i can say that i usually agree with the opinion of this community and I have a question to which i really wish to know Your answer...
The question is: Is it ok to invite stripper to a Bachelor party?

I'd appreciate if you add to your post
if you've been to such party (with or without strippers) and have some real experience or if you're posting without any experience with it.
I guess it is really situational, cuz as i read on forums someone made a 24h playing sc2 bachelor party and obviously then a stripper is an overkill but in my situation my brother is getting married in 2 weeks, he is 28, IT worker, so we decided to rent a house next to a lake and around 15 of his friends (very little from work, mostly from highshool and univeristy) will come for a 3 day long party (Males only ofc). We already prepared a kick ass paintball game in a forest+field nearby and also some movies displayed on the highest wall of the house. Also gonna get lots of booze and some fireworks to let ppl living nearby know we are there ;D We are all preparing for truly extreme hardcore partying so I really dont want to make any stupid decisions or assumptions and in the worst case spoil the fun.
Also: If you guys know/ have any other ideas that are worth including in a Bachelor Party Schedule PM me or just post them here!!! I'd really appreciate it as well...
Plz... help me to make up my mind and already THANK YOU for your input in this topic
P.S: sry for my bad english. i hope you guess the correct meaning of my awkward vocab and grammar use.

It depends on whether your brother's wife knows about it...

It really depends on your brother. Since its his wedding/bachelor party, you wouldn't want to make it a bad memory for him will ya? So go for it if he is into that.
Posting without any experience

It rather depends will she have her own stripper, if she's not then it's to person who will be taking the wedding. He might not want to have a stripper because of this reason, but he could understand that it's mostly party for his male friends so he can just sit there on the stage and do nothing. Girl making stripptease could even move the party, take other guys on the stage dance with here, or just some volunteers. It's really good to have a girl on such a party, one say that It's a must. Especially that parties including male only, to not be disregarding to me and the other guys, Might be boring.

Bachelor parties is one of the reasons strippers exist.
Of course, its all up to the people having the party, like everything else.
|
Everything to do with strippers is ok.

Here's my question, to your question. In 2011, people still *actually* think the best way to spend their "last night of freedom" is with a girl who gets paid to rub her ass on men 5 days a week?
wtf

In the case you're wondering about my opinion, everything is "okay", but in my opinion that's just disgusting.
|
Personally a lot of my friends who have had bachelor parties said that they'd just feel awkward if a surprise stripper showed up. Maybe some people would like it, some might not. Seems like you have a lot of surefire kickass things planned though, so I'd stick with what's a sure thing

Seen a lot of Bachelor parties/hen nights. Seen a lot with strippers.

That's quite true so i guess the decision is truly on my brother's side... And like in FightClub: what happens in a bachelor party stays in a bachelor party ^ ^ god I'm so hyped!!!

Yes I was, and it even was last week, it worked really really well, party was fun, girl was a cutie, everyone was sitting there watching for like 15 minutes. Girl then was sitting with, talking, it was really nice. I really advice to have a stripper on such party, maybe even two, if you can afford.

None of us know your brother. None of us know your brother's fiance. We are not the right people to be asking.

...Dont go for hardcore partying your heads off. Go for the fun things. You'll have plenty of time to get wasted togheter in the years to come, dont celebrate some glorified culturual ideal you celebrated when you were 16.
Is a stripper realy what a man thats been ringed by this most amazing woman needs? He is free, but booze and lots of talk about freedom and pressure might make him think he is not. He has already freely given himself to her, to be married, to have only her. Dont make it out he is somehow going to be less free. Some words in a church just makes their relationship legaly binding.

It's tradition.
In reality, it depends on how the night is going. Is it getting raunchy or is it just bonding and light-heartedness?
|
if you party consists of booze, paintball, and fireworks...how can you not include strippers into it? however, you mentioned "very little" people from work. how little, is his boss coming? do you know any of those people from work? if you do, and you think they will be ok with it, i say go for it!
|
It depends on the group. Strippers and strip clubs aren't my thing. I'd much prefer getting drunk and playing video games with my buds. Consequently we're probably going to Dave and Busters for my bachelor party.

Strippers in bachelor parties are a norm.. what kind of question is this?
