I was wondering what everyone prefers when it comes to watching VoDs and streams, livestream or uStream? What is your favorite of the two, if any, and why? These questions are not just for people who watch them but also for casters themselves.

For starters add something like this: Poll: Which do you prefer? Ustream (204) Livestream (72) JustinTV (21) 297 total votes Your vote: Which do you prefer? Maybe post your opinion too, because 3 lines aren't acceptable here for an OP.

Livestream used to be terrible every now and then but I don`t really experience it anymore, everything goes smooth when watching. Ustream has a bigger bitrate cap if I`m not mistaken though. edit: Actually I think you can go way over 500kbps with Procaster?

Why? UStream is easier on the eyes, has a lot less pop up ads and can go beyond 500 kbps. Livestream on the other hand is easier to broadcast with, simply because it requires less crap up in the background. UStream requires you to login, hop on the broadcaster in order for you to start up a stream. Livestream just requires either FMLE + Cam recorder or Procaster. UStream needs either FMLE + Cam Recorder + hopping onto UStream broadcaster. That alone makes it a pain in the ass to set up a stream. Procaster is easier to use, plus it's nice when it comes to managing chat. UStream chat is meh to manage, unless you hop onto an IRC client.

No, account verification doesn't do anything. I believe it was either 1 Gig or 10 Gigs last I checked. They start deleting them from your account automatically once you hit the limit. I would check, but they purged my account. =( I lied. It's actually 10 GB.

Livesteam like others have said have tons of ads that interrupt for no reason. Not even just the first ad that pop outs for like 15 minutes. After watching the stream for like 20-30 min, midst of a game changing micro battle, boom another ad goes on for 15 seconds and the game is over D: not to mention it seems to always cover the minimap with some ad

However, ustream does have better visual design and less pervasive advertising.
