Are you sure that you don't mean Livestream? Livestream has iPhone support - it uses iphones quicktime player or something to watch streams.

Assuming its of a similar quality Justin TV is like Ustream but they don't require you to keep a "ustream broadcast window" open in a web browser at all times. Like Ustream, they have uncap stream quality. So you can broadcast 720p video at 2000 Kbps is you like. However, I found that Justin tv has the worst network connectivity through my unscientific tests. When you're broadcasting at the exact same bitrate across 3 networks, more people will be able to connect to livestreams servers. In terms of connectivity, I would rank Livestream #1, Ustream #2, and Justin tv #3. But out of the 3 websites, Livestream has the most downtime.

On top of that, I absolutely love the integrated chat in livestream and can never really get the chat in ustream to work. However, ustream does have better visual design and less pervasive advertising. I absolutely agree. Every since Day9 switched I haven't been able to enjoy. LAG LAG LAG LAG Chatting is better in livestream and for watching live games that makes a big difference

Livestream just does everything for you and is much better if you don't want to think about how you're actually streaming live content, but UStream works better if you know what you're doing.

As for the quality I've found good and bad on both, so I'll give the edge to livestream as a viewer. I agree with the chat being easier on live stream. For UStream you must register and even then it limits your chat to like a line every 15 seconds. For live stream you just make a temp name and chat away. However, I still prefer UStream because in my experience it crashes less. Day[9] had a lot of problems nearing the end of his stay on live stream and since hes been streaming on UStream I rarely see him have problems. The only experience I've had with the two sites have been watching Day[9] though so I don't know 100 % which one would be better. All kinds of different experiences make me wonder ![]()

I do like Ustream because you can customize and do a lot more with your stream than on livestream. I don't really care about the fact that you can go above 500 bitrate on ustream anyway. I feel that if I did that, there'd be too many people with sucky enough internet that they wouldn't be able to watch. That might be what's going on with Day[9] for the people who experience lag. Justin.tv has a cap on people from each country (for whatever reason), so that's a no go.

No... If anything, it's his sucky PC or the servers.

Ustream doesn't do shit - also it has the feature that lets you pop it out and maximize it on a second monitor so its much better for watching to me. Wow I didn't even know that. That's awesome! Where is that on the web page?
