On the other hand, I've lately gotten addicted to LoL.... What is up with us gamers? Do we just have some kind of genetic thing that causes us to get addicted (I know this sounds absurd, but sometimes I feel like my genes are wired differently than my sister's, who rarely gets addicted to anything.) | ||

i played that game for 4 years, played it comfortably, helped lead a top ranked guild, and quit last summer because it has become to casual. there is no addiction, it's just a damn good time. if you're ignoring friends and failing classes, you have much deeper problems than a computer game. | ||

Addictions are really common to people of all wakes of life. Alcohol, cigarettes, drugs happens to all classes of people. As for games, if it isn't games as it is for many people here, it's TV, Facebook/Myspace or other similar internet/media kinds of activities. Me I used to be addicted to a game called Knight Online many years back in highschool. Played it every waking hour that I wasn't at school. Went from being a top of the class student to getting an Bs or even Ds for almost every subject one semester. That hit me hard and was enough to make me get over the addiction. | ||

i voted tobacco, tobacco was by far the worst addiction i've ever had i quit cold turkey because i knew in my mind i was ready to quit i've tried to have a cigarette like a "cool drunk" but i can't do it, it's too fucking disgusting :D also, zealotdriver, you must stop DLing w0w if you already have it, and come and see me again i miss you bro | ||
