My email, BattleNet ID and pretty much all online username/logins are either "rkshox" or "rkshoks" RK are my initials and I was a big fan of Nike Shox when I was in middle school. Thought of changing it, but the name just stuck.

I also go buy rksteals which originated when i started kill stealing every single one of my friend's kills in Dota XD

I used to play pokemon and remember using a a dark type special sweeper, which spawned the name "Dark-Pulse" (after the dark type move) on another forum. Then I shortened it to just "Dark" on minecraft and the minecraft forums back in october 2009. That was a popular name everywhere else though so I thought "Well, I dream lucidly often and Dark was my old ID, so why not combine them?"

A bit of an evolved process over the years but you can get the gist of it there.

When I first played World of Warcraft, I cycled through races and classes and eventually settled on a Troll Shaman, whom I named Brahmin after the Hindu God of Beginnings, and I carried that name with me for a year or so.

One day, I realized my realm was one of the worst in America, so I resolved to realm switch to a new realm, and with that came a name change, so I thought long and hard, since Brahmin was a name that was fairly dear to me.

I decided to keep a piece of Brahmin, and then add in my own name, Sam, but replace the S with a Z (which is how I sign most of my pieces of artwork) which is how I ended up with Zambrah.

Even though I've stopped playing WoW, I still hold this name next to my heart. <3

Over the years I've had 3 names that I have more or less used. The first of these was simply 'Nameless' I used this because of my peculiar way of being a guy who is known but not noticed. So despite my interactions with people I was still relatively anonymous even among my groups of friends.

After that I devided nameless was a bit too straightforward so I reworked it to 'Le Loup Inconnu' or 'LeLoup' for short. I'm american but for some reason I really like french/latin and as it is much easier to translate to french than latin I decided to go with french. As for what it means the literal translation is 'the nameless wolf' whihc again fits into the feeling of being a member of a pack that is never noticed.

My ID right now though on B.net is Copycat and honestly it's the best name that I've had in a while IMO. Basically though it's another part of me where I have this ability to watch and almost 'copy' not just the actions, but the thoughts behind the actions of a person. Granted this depends on how well I know the person, but regardless it's still a talent.

When I was in high school I made a fake Facebook account named Toady McMuffintops, I thought the name sounded funny and would creep people out. After that I kept using Toad or Toady on different accounts. When I made my account here I used BroodToad because well BROOD War + TOADy. Don't know why I just didn't try Toady.

I've also used ReturnToTwelve and HornetSting, Return to Forever being a jazz band I like and twelve being my favorite number.
And HornetSting because it was a Magic: The Gathering that was nearby when I needed an ID for some site xP

I started playing BW on LAN with my best friend. Each time you set up BW again you had to make a new name and one time, since my internet was crap, it lagged so badly that it was choppy every 2 seconds or so. After that, I kept my name Lagcraft for any starcraft game.

When I tried WC3 my name was Achecraft since I didn't understand the game and it gave me a headache.

First there was DnD. Being the eleven year old that I was I figured "hey, what's kick-ass and elvish, but also incredibly masculine and inspiring?" Apparently in my books that translated to Moon Hunter, which according to the very popular book at the time "Elven according to Tolkien" translated to Lufarianor Cellnarion, which was amazingly bad-ass, gotta have those soft vowels in there so people know they're about to get f*cked up.

Then Guild Wars happened, and right off the bat I started getting shortened to Luffy. Still being <16 and not exactly confident in my bearing, a girl from my now long-time guild changed it to Fluffy. This simply would not do, so I asked her to think of something else. There was an officer meeting, because our guild consisted of about 10 people back then, and it was decided that since I was the youngest, never swore, and lived in France, I should be called cute in French.

But for some reason no-one could really pronounce chou. I thought it was a general problem with English speakers because I didn't understand sample size yet, which has caused me many problems in my life before I realized it wasn't. Regardless, we were an up-and-coming guild, full of ambition and innovative ideas, we couldn't be thwarted by a word. So our leader Meiko decided that failing French, English would have to do. So I became Fluffy Cabbage for the next 5 years.

And then One Piece hit my radar. In over 8 years now of being called variations of Luffy, no-one had ever thought to point out that there was an anime with a protagonist of the same name (albeit pronounced incorrectly, mine was Luh-fee). suddenly every new person I met was screaming at me "OMG ONE PIECE, HAVE YOU SEEN ONE PIECE? HELP ME FIND THE ONE PIECE!". This really pissed me off, and I listened to many dark and edgy songs before I could bring myself to face facts: I would have to change my name.

So when the time came to register for StarcraftII, I activated on all the new powers of manliness I had acquired over the seven years since I was 11 and thought moonshine was the most testosterone filled word I'd ever seen, and turned them towards modifying the only piece of my name that couldn't be shortened down to something wooden and stretchy. I realized my mistake had been making all my syllables have a soft sound, so how could I fix this? F*cking CellNaDritch mofos! You've got your Na, implying contrariety and strength of character and resolve, your Dritch to make sure they know you're one evil sonuvabitch, but also the Cell is still there, covering the bases in terms of emotional sensibility and empathy. I went out into the big bad world of SC2 with the best and deepest moniker I had ever created.

Then the same chick from my guild started playing SC2 with us a bit and I became CellyGelly.
I just try and maintain a tiny bit of dignity when she's not around >.<

Well; there was a game called Perfect Dark, and I was playing this when I was like 4 (16 now). I couldn't think of a Profile name. After thinking for a while, my brother comes in, and says Chumpkilla. It has stuck ever since.

One of my first mmorpg games I played when I was about 14 or so, ashen empires, I was sitting there trying to think of a name when a song came on. A song called Krs-one by sublime. "I know because of Krs-one" and I typed it in, but my original tag was KRS1 but most games don't let you use numbers anymore. I also like to randomly ask my friends, "how do you know". Although most people assume I got it from the rapper krsone.
Life is to short so love the one you got, cause you might get run over or you might get shot-Sublime

Cozzak..

It started when I was 16 and discovered (real) dubstep. I then progressed into being obsessed with Bassnectar. In particular, his song Cozza Frenzy was my favorite. I had an Xbox Live gamertag of --> eVo Lu T ii ooN <-- previous to this discovery. Being the independent teen I was, I went out and dropped $25 on a gamer point card.

I rushed my ass back home, and sat down for at least 2 hours deciding what to make my next gamertag, and exile myself from the land of non-sensical spaces and capitalizations. I said to myself, "how about Cozza!?" many times, but that was not a tough enough name for the likes of 250lb me. I felt like I was copying the mastermind known as Bassnectar, and that was not ok. I decided I would go through the alphabet, and progressively add letters on to the end of it and see what happened. Cozzaa. Cozzab. Cozzac. Cozzad. Nothing seemed tough enough, everything seemed to remind me of corn for some reason. Then, it popped up on the screen.

Cozzak.

This was a tough name. This was me. It was so legit, I typed it in hoping it wasn't taken. It wasn't. I played MW2 like any other 16 year old would, but I was better because I was Cozzak. People would try to guess how to pronounce my name, Co-Zack.. Caus-Ak.. I didn't know which one to pick. I made it to sound like Caus-Ak, but everyone I played with said Co-Zack. I told myself, "don't mind these petty scrubs pronouncing your name wrong, you're Cozzak!" My ego made a good point, but these scrubs were my friends. I decided I would be called by either. It was my semi-alias. I was Cozzak.

A year passes, still repping this hardened, tough as nails, boss level name. I did some research on my name, seeing if it would come up among any other professional level players like me. It didn't, but I did turn up an auto-correct by google. Cossack came up. They were the most trusted guardians and protectors of the Russian lands. I jizzed a little. My name was similar to the protectors of Russia, the most badass country of toughness in the world.

I was the K causer in all the games I played. I caused K's. I causa k everyday. I always cozza k. I always.. Cozzak.

A year passes, still repping this hardened, tough as nails, boss level guardian of the motherland of all evil and badassery known RUSSSSSSSSSIA.

Here we are today.

Cozzak..

Have you considered the MMO-Champion forum? You are just as irrational and delusional with the right portion of nostalgic populism. By the way: The old Brood War was absolutely unplayable
