Notice the bread+eggs, its so incredible superior to white bread and eggs, that I don't understand why rye bread isn't more common. The dark taste doesn't fit well with sweet stuff as jam, peanutbutter etc. but rule with meat, fish and eggs.

Last night this thread gave me huge, huge cravings for a good asian noodle soup. So today for lunch I went on a quest for authentic asian food (not chicken balls tyvm) in Sackville, New Brunswick! After a whole 2 minutes of investigation, I found a place called Vinh's Wok, whose claim to fame was a Chinese buffet. Now, Vinh is clearly not a Chinese name, so I was hoping that this would be the common situation of a Vietnamese family opening a Chinese/Asian restaurant in some place that would never be able to sustain a real ethnic restaurant. Usually these places have some element of their own culture's food on the menu... and I was right! Hidden between the lists of chop suey and chicken balls, I found me some bun bo and different pho. Needless to say, I am now a very happy man, because there's very little I like more than bun bo. I'll be going back to have pho next time I read through this thread :D.

I'm not going to post my favorite food but this is food related so whatever. If you've ever read one of those "Where should I go in Tokyo?" threads, you might've noticed that one common suggestion was to try out small restaurants which turn out to be really good. I discovered a really really good small restaurant like 5 minutes away from my house which was pretty cool. And then I found another place even closer to my house which i've never noticed before. It turns out that it has a Michelin star. So I did some research... There are 10 Michelin Star restaurants within like... a 10 minute walking range of my house and one of them actually has 3 stars! Time to start saving up...

@ BlackJack No, you are not supposed to eat the peel. If its fish on top, it comes with lemons+ peel, but don't eat the peel, lol. I guess its just there for looks. All the other stuff is eatable as it is.
