It'd be really cool if there was a spectator mode for visibility mods that helped, but we all know how little hope there is for something like that happening.

I still miss. :c IMO, play with Relaxmod and Autopilot to isolate left and right hand stuff, a lot of inconsistency can come from using both hands together incorrectly. Focus on being correct on timing, having a low unstable rate, also snapping to notes faster, dragging sliders start to finish at the correct pace without leaving them early or stopping travel too early, etc. If you can get higher than ~97% accuracy, click edit on a map, save as new difficulty, and then on that save panel, go to map options and drag the OD higher until you can't get >95% accuracy any more. That will show your mistakes in timing - if you hit stuff too early, too late, or if your pacing is off for streams it might show 300's at the starts sliding into 100's later in the stream for example, where previously it would show you only 300's. Because i played too much with low OD for too long, i had horrible pacing on my patterns of ~2-6 circles (including triplets) - like i would spam through them too fast, and i would have to reacquire the beat of the the song on the next pattern/jump all the time, which made me a lot worse and more inconsistent. When OD was cranked up, i just got mostly 100's on those patterns until i fixed it a lot. Yea, that kinda turned into a rant about timing.. but if you have perfect timing, aim and reading, you will never miss so you can't possibly be inconsistent. It helped me a lot more than i thought I just randomly did this on 1 play during warm up which was nice: finally relax S on this one! Go to 1:00, sit back and grab some popcorn :D

I still miss. :c Cyro's completely right when he says that improving rythm is a great way to improve, and that aiming in general gets better by playing with relax, but I'd like to add my own experience/perspective/method. I noticed my aim got significantly better when I was playing low ar with small circles (when I give some advice, you can count on low ar's getting involved sooner or later ![]() Edit: contrary to Cyro's opinion, I think snapping notes as slow as possible is a better way to improve aim than snapping them as fast as possible. Combined with practicing a wide range of speeds and ar's, you'll gain control over you cursor, getting closer to making ar and speed irrelevant. You'll still need speed of course, but the speed is a means to control. When your cursor control on x bpm (given some ar) is good, I can assure you you have the cursor speed to play at x+20 bpm. As an example consider the player Damnjelly. He has a pass on that jumpheavy recent blue dragon map with dt, so his snapping is very fast. But during OWC, he missed 16 times (independent from eachother!!) on a nomod ar9 map (this one). That's an excellent example of being fast, but having little control. I had some random nice runs today, with which ill bore you: tower of heaven (ely): Nearly fc, missed 4 notes before the end. I wish i could shut down my nerve lol. The song is surprisingly hard to aim, I think I'll upload the replay. + Show Spoiler + Far east nightbird (tsuka): Finally fc, but with very shitty acc. Although unstable rate is okish, nearly all of my 100's were in easy parts and unforced. + Show Spoiler + Sentimental Skyscraper (hollow wings): This is the best score of today. It makes you want logging out and nofail did not exist. It would've been top50, and by far best dutch score. *sigh* Bad acc, i was nervous, because i couldn't remember if I put on nofail or not, and there's one part i normally fail in the second half (not this time though, believe me ![]() + Show Spoiler + Edit2: tower of heaven: Edit:3 Yay, an A: + Show Spoiler +

For example, after I practiced my aim at high ar´s, I tried jumppudding to see if my aim was better than before, same with low ar jumps and the hollow wings map and spacy streams and the tsuka map. I don't care about accuracy :') I accidentally left nofail on today while i was logged today, and as of an hour ago one of my higher top ranks is a score with nofail lol.

I rarely ever multi, and farming in mania is much harder due to lack of maps. I nofail a lot because I hate being immediately kicked out of a song the moment I fail. I consider everything I play/do ingame practice in one way or another, and I never grind anything. I've been improving a bunch of scores lately and managed to squeeze out about 100pp so far. At least in standard nofail can still get you decent scores, thanks to the ridiculous scaling that you get from combo. Since mania score is capped at 1m and nf still halves your score, you can't even get the satisfaction of saying "osu halved my score and I still beat you" lol. So, I forgot that I always DT this song. I didn't miss a note on my first time playing this without DT:

Black = size of tablet Red = screen Blue/purple = size of osu window + Show Spoiler + What rrtyui uses: ![]() What i'm using now: ![]() This gives me almost exactly the same sensitivity as rrtyui (distance to cross height of osu window) but my osu window is bigger (i prefer it bigger, circles seem easier to handle and less cursor wobble which is a real thing when using tablets on a small game window) So.. our sens is the same within ~1.5% (i evened mine out to be an exact 6cm in height, and 1cm to 150 pixels) He uses 6.08cm and ~71.1% of his screen height, i use 6cm and ~83.3% of screen height. Pretty similar i guess - 768px is just too small of a window for my preferences (: Edit: I MATHED WRONG, he has a ctl-470 which has 9cm height instead of 9.5cm. Numbers should carry over.. but shrink his tablet size by 5.26%. His sens is still ~4.17% faster than mine. Didn't see rrtyui's youtube link, he has a few liveplays on there (this one says very old and was posted in 2012, so..) looks VERY fun :D

less than a minute ago 214pp MAP RANK 18 OD9.67 BITCHES Wow, many above me just spun better, some used HD, there's a HRHD score etc - i'm one of only three people with this accu, nobody has DT SS 0:35+ for cursor movement, i had to mute audio because it was horribly desynced until i restarted PC because of some issue that i didn't work out yet. I'm gonna go restart then record replay (: I think this is pretty well mapped, by Sieg, isn't he the guy who mapped midnight siege? the 0:21-0:26 section just makes me happy

I decided to do some relax again as well, trying to get comfortable at higher bpm maps (~300+) and that worked out decently. In the end I did some freedom dive relax at different bpms, and the results were quite satisfying. First of all 180bpm+dt. I just came from 350 bpm relax, but it's freedom dive, so I started relatively slowly: + Show Spoiler + Well, that was easier than expected. Had some minor hiccups, but nothing structural Secondly, 200bpm+dt. As I don't feel comfortable at 300 bpm yet, I was kindof doubtful about the outcome: + Show Spoiler + Uhm, wth? Still quite good. I did mess up some streams though, so i have to work on this bpm. Last but not least, I thought I might as well do 220bpm+dt. In a moment of great optimism, I even thought I could get an A. + Show Spoiler + LOL I really messed up some parts, though, so i still need practice.

as soon as i got through that with SS i got a little excited and slightly derped a 100 (but it was very very close to being a 300, like a fraction of a millisecond even) which was unfortunate, still, unbeaten accuracy on that map :D fd4d relax is fun!

that map above is good for HR: or even nomod. I think i'd prefer HR, but edited so that it'd not od10 - od10 is too overpowering for me atm, 8.5 would be challenging somewhat and more pleasant for a map like that damn i was so lazy with finishing my sliders there, i think it was just harder because i wasn't adjusted to sens yet
