I play with hidden 300's and small hitbursts lol. You're still way better than I am at easy stuff. I can't usually get decent accuracy on that kind of stuff, even though I can pass way harder maps.

I've just been using these hitbursts for like 3 years so I'm used to them by now and I like them

Apparently osu doesnt care if the image is a jpg but renamed as a png or anything. I also have python 2.6 and 3.3 installed. Only thing is that if peppy hashes the whole beatmap folder, he'd be able to detect if the background had been replaced too. Also: fuck peppy. He claims he supports competitive osu, but actively steers things towards casual gaming with his choices. He doesnt want to support actual competitive osu, he wants to support competitive osu that works the way he decides it does. He's like kespa in a sense: always trying to make sure he has control over every aspect he can (or by extension, the mappers having control). I've written more than enough on his BS already though.

I wonder if the mappers really care if the bg is taken out or not in the first place You can pass on any mode – using nofail if you wish – as long as you get a score. ... too bad relax doesn't work as a "mode" -.- (or auto)

![]() edit - on another note, the fact that i have to wait untill the map is loaded before hitting escape is... really, really, annoying.

Those guys want to have more or less full control over how people play their maps. I have seen a few mappers agree with me when I posted about that stuff on the official forums. I get pissed about being too distracted and not paying my best with that stuff. :/

But what annoys me a little bit is that there are some kind of stars (?) dropping out of the cursor, and whenever i use z/x, the stars shoot out of the cursor left/right. Is there any way to stop this? edit: you can't see it on the picture above, because it only happens when i'm in a map. The stars that come out of the cursor I believe are named as star2.png in your osu skin folder.
