This is particularly annoying when they specify the default osu skin. The only way to get around that is to delete the default skin, rename your skin folder to default, and edit the ini file to name it default and to set the creator to default. Technically, there's a third way as well. Some songs can do both of these at the same time. That is particularly annoying because when you delete the elements, if you didn't replace the default skin with yours, sometimes it'll replace the deleted skin elements with default elements, so suddenly you have massive hit bursts and shit. | ||

Now I'm gonna start working on those TV-size beatmaps. 90 second beatmaps are a lot easier to SS than 3-4 minute ones haha. | ||

Not bad, the map's actually pretty fun on hidden. I should be able to SS it if I practiced just replaying that map. | ||

Now I'm gonna start working on those TV-size beatmaps. 90 second beatmaps are a lot easier to SS than 3-4 minute ones haha. Yeah that's gonna be my final frontier. Persevering to SS the 5-stars. That, and getting A's on the ridiculous insane maps that just combine fast tempos with difficult click strings & jumps. | ||

I used to have pretty bad accuracy as well, but nowadays I can SS most OD8 Insanes if I try (thought I'm usually too lazy) Just a matter of practice | ||

I used to play multiplayer with friends on Skype all the time, that's a fun way to improve. try to play maps that you can just pass, and concentrate on getting them right (for example passing stuff like chipscape isn't worth much if you're just mashing buttons instead of streaming properly. Always ask yourself if what you're doing is somewhat skill-based or purely random and play the hardest maps that you can play "correctly") | ||
