I would noob tube more often, but the only AR I really use is the SCAR. You pretty much have to use scavenger with the SCAR, and I'm not giving up my sights to use a grenade launcher attachment. I don't use ARs as much as I used to anymore anyway, I'm loving silenced UMP45. It's great fun.

Yeah, the silenced ump is boss if you're in try-hard mode. But usually I'm either sniping, or tossing RPGs around trying to piss people off.

Some people knife-only when they want to be dicks, I turn on Danger Close

I blinged my acr for tube and silencer... i miss sleight of hand, you dont realize when you use it all the time, but it's so fucking clutch in a tight spot.

Yeah, I use sleight of hand when I'm going around with my silenced UMP45. Sometime I get frustrated when using the iron sight, but as far as iron sights go, the UMP45 has a pretty good one.

Edit: On perks in general, I just feel there are so many worthwhile blue perks compared to the other tiers. I'm always torn between at least 2 blue perks when I'm making a class (most of the time sleight of hand and scavenger). I like marathon quite a bit too. I usually don't feel that conflict with red and yellow - unless its a specialized class. Most of the time I'll want to go with cold blooded for red and ninja for yellow. The only time there is really conflict is when I'm doing something out of the ordinary for me - like danger close for explosive builds, sometimes I consider using stopping power for sniping. I don't know, maybe I just undervalue some of the red/yellow perks.

Hi guys. I've just bought this game, but I'm having some problems with mouse lag. Do any of you know how to fix this. I searched google, but could not find anyone with similar problems and the only solutions proposed is upgrading hardware. But can it really be that hardware makes the MOUSE lag. I can understand I have lower frames than a high end system, but I dont understand mouse lag.

Check your 'game required rating'. If you're on vista or windows 7 it should be under 'games'.
Your mouse will lag if your 'current system's rating' is lower than the required rating.

Buy a better graphic's card and probably a power supply. Check bestbuy or tigerdirect. Its pretty expensive btw.

Yeah it sounds like your having normal type lag issues - either hardware or internet connection. If you're internet connection is good, make sure you meet the system requirements for the game for your operating system. I play on xbox, but when the game starts lagging it is sort of similar to that. You can't look where you want too, the screen won't move the way you want to or move at all. And then all of a sudden you'll just snap to somewhere else.

I also feel like Perk 1 has the most useable options. Bling, Slight of Hand, Marathon and Scavenger are useable. I find with Perk 2 on normal mode justifying anything other than stopping power is difficult. In hardcore I think Cold-Blooded and Hardline would be much more useable. Lightweight and Danger Close are only used when knifing / Toobing. Perk 3 is the weakest in my opinion. Scrambler might be the worst Perk in the game, Ninja is too situational (nobody uses heartbeats). Commando is amazing when knifing, but overall is not that useful. Steady Aim is probably the best overall Perk 3, although it is medicore in the grand scheme of things.

Cold blooded is still pretty amazing in normal. I play normal and I use cold blooded almost all the time. It is easily my favorite perk in the whole game.

Yeah it's a wall hack. And cold blooded in core is great. I love counter-sniping at snipers using a thermal scope.

yeah CB is awesome either way. When you use it a lot, and then stop, you completely forget that you're basically immune to most killstreak reawrds, and no one can use thermals. I used to use hardline, but not really anymore.

Yeah I never really got into the Hardline thing. The second slot has so much other good stuff, it seems to me like lowering kill streaks by one measly kill is shortchanging the potential awesomeness.

i have pretty noticeable lag around 1/3 of my games on 360, so i often find myself switching between stopping power and cold blooded. With lag, a weapon without SP will get like 4-5 hit markers, when in reality i'm already dead. So frustrating when trying to use other red perks.

I would only use cold blooded if i was rocking a silencer / sniper... that way you dont have to worry about air support ripping you apart.

I generally prefer stopping power though since I don't have the patience for sniping.

Cold blooded isn't just for snipers. Running around with a silenced UMP and Cold Blooded makes for some good times.

It is NOT normal lag issues. The gave flows well, the ping is low and I have no lag spikes. It is just the mouse that reacts slow and it makes aiming very difficult. Its not like the screen dosent move or glitch. Its just a slight delay in the mouse movement (with is still smooth).
