I get the impression that the PC MW2 gamers are more dedicated/hard core than 360 gamers? To me 95% of all the players I'm up against on the 360 are casual gamers that don't really care what happens in game. Am I wrong in thinking PC gamers in general play more seriously than console gamers in general? Obviously we have our fair share of competition (check out gamebattles.com for that bit), but I think in general we're more laid back. | ||

I think PC gamers are probably more "serious business" than console gamers but idk as last console I had with dual analog was PS2, lol. but consider this: 1st: for PC, tdm has about 30% of the player pool, dom 25%, ground war 20% and all other modes ridiculously less. this makes your chance to face premade groups much higher, or forces you to wait an awful time to get games going 2nd: playing a tdm/dom vs 3-4 premade is pretty much autoloss because if they can hipfire their assault rifles long enough they can hold out 2 flags for sure. 3rd: 1/3 of the games I play I'm the only one with a positive KD. 80% of the games I play I get top score of my team and usually higher than the other team's top score. 4th: I refuse to play Assault Rifles because they require no skill. AR>Sniper Rifles by a long margin. 5th: While people are starting to understand a Harrier and Chopper Gunner = death, I still find myself in games where someone gets a 10+ KD because nobody takes them down and I actually have to go kill myself to spawn with another class it's a fun game don't get me wrong, but the amount of random included in this is hardly balanced | ||

The multiplayer has been a blast so far. Since I was pretty bad going into it (not very much experience at FPS and certainly not ones like this game) so I hit a frustration point after an hour or 2 where i felt like quitting because I was getting my ass kicked. I stuck with it though and I'm glad I did. After I started to get a hang of it it started to be really fun. Anyway, the gist of what I'm saying is I recommend the game if anyone who reads this is considering buying it. I'm not much of a FPS player, but the game still delivers for me. The single player and multiplayer are both fun. I haven't tried the special ops things yet, but from what I hear from a friend .. they are good too. | ||

After getting 500 headshots with the intervention pre-prestige, I'm already back up to 254 headshots post-prestige. w00t for fall camo and that sexy headshot title! So yeah, overall 750 headshots with a sniper ain't so bad I guess. Also, the 254 is out of 701 total kills. Not a bad ratio? Better than 1:3, which I'm proud of, even though I'm sure there are better out there. I'm giving my sniper class a break for now, since I just got back up to a level 40 and I get to rock my try-hard M16 again. Which I still maintain is the best overall gun in the game. The ACR is a close second but during long kill streaks I run out of ammo too fast with full auto guns. Has to be single shot or 3 round burst IMO. | ||

I also sympathasize with the guy that said people don't shoot down harriers/chopper gunners/pavelows/ac130s and you wonder WHY. Each of those has the potential to freaking turn the tide of an entire match. I went coldblood pro anti air and man I killed everything from UAV's to AC130's is ease. People even raged when their hard earned AC130 exploded in a shower of glorious red within the span of 10 seconds after calling it in. I switch to my now knifing spec (so I can learn movement, the UMP, and the maps more. Trying to become more proactive) and I get RAPED by anything called in killstreak wise because it seems as if I'm the ONLY one that ever shot those things down. Shoot UAV's down guys, those things win games too. | ||
