well, I got to 70 in about 2d19h playing mainly domination and tdm with an overall 2:1 KD ratio and like, 1:1.5 win/lose ratio
it's not that long but I can't imagine redoing it for a month's worth of time

I prestiged once, and will not again probably. The lower levels are very painful. Personally I have more fun pwning people at level 70 then leveling up.
The Ak-47 is boss, just like in mw1, but it takes mucho practice.

Does anyone else absolutely HATE domination with pubs? I don't think some of these kids have ever heard of a setup.
Playing with friends that know their shit is tons of fun tho. Especially ground war

I dont think prestige is anything like grinding at all. It forces you to be good with a variety of weapons as the fastest way to level is to do weapon achievements.

seeing how all assault rifles act the same (low recoil, 2-3 hit kill (except skillfamasm16)) it's hardly a challenge to be "good" with all those

Getting to 70 - 2-3 days playtime total. Doing it ten times - no thanks. You don't even get anything useful out of it, which is why I dislike it. It really sucks out the fun for me, what's with almost instantly losing the AK-47 right after you've unlocked it and stuff - although my "ideal" setup gets unlocked at level 48, it still kinda sucks.

Yeah, plus the ones that aren't able to figure out that holding the middle flag plus your home flag is better than your home flag plus lolol lets just rush their home flag and try to take that derp.

So I've seen some youtube videos of some guys using the AK to great effect, but I just don't get it personally. Sure it's got a great RoF, great damage, but you can't fire anything longer than a short burst before the recoil starts swinging your reticule around like you're a bobblehead doll.
Am I really that nooby that I'm missing something?

I'm lvl 70 and will Prestige after finishing a few challenges (kill streaks + ACR, M16, SCAR). I want that extra custom class slot.
Domination is awesome but i hate noob teams that think that 3 flags is better than 2. Like spawning at A on Karachi then we get all the flags, the enemy start spawning elsewhere and we end up with only C and start getting spawn raped. fml.

depending on the map it's actually a decent strategy to capture all 3 flags. sadly enough spawns are still bad in this game (like one game on Skidrow we only had B and they were all spawning around B so they could noskill rush us it was so amazing) and sometimes it just takes forever to spawn away from the last rush zone.
Reminds me of one game on Derail we got 3-0'd by a premade group and we just kept spawning at A (last flag we lost) for a good 2 minutes till some people spawned at the electricity thing in the bottom right corner so we could retake C/B but ofc there was a dude nearby who went to town on us with akimbo 1887s and I just quit because I had been spawnkilled something like 8 times in a row

You guys all seem to think that there was absolutely no in-house balance testing of all of these weapons and perks. I dunno about you, but I think that the 87s function exactly how the developers wanted them to.
The Javelin glitch on the other hand..... I'm really glad I play on the 360 and bans are being handed out to people who do it. I really has cut down the rate at which bullshit happens. Sorry to all the PC and PS3 gamers.

meh, I don't have fun when I play completely one sided games. either I lose horribly, or we stomp so bad I don't even have time to get my nuke.
