You don't become any better after a certain point, just less specialised. Furthermore each level takes 5x as long as the previous one but doesn't increase it by much more. Getting from +8% rate of fire to +10% rate of fire will take 5x the time taken to do from +6% to +8%. That's well within the margin of pilot skill difference. I haven't been on much, or doing much exploration at all since the last time when I found 2 rld, but I had about an hour today so I went to probing. Headed into the pocket and found some crap in a couple systems, but I'm looking for good stuff only. Head into Half and find an Elohim Site (hackable ladar), and then a Red Light District! Well, I only had about 30 minutes left to play at this point so I did the Elohim site and left my ship there to finish the RLD later (hopefully noone takes). Alright I go raid for 5 hours and come back and notice the RLD site is up, sweet. It's pretty painful in my shit ass drake, so I figure, 2 shit drakes should make it less painful. So my first time dualboxing a low sec site. O man, 2 drakes made it so easy. Anyways, clear the 3rd pocket, hoping for some sweet loot. Maybe a micro warp drive, or afterburner, or shield resist mod... super praying for a shield booster but meh, that wont drop. Scoop in for loot and .... http://i.imgur.com/QJo8m.jpg Medium shield booster (800m) OMG!! and... 10MN microwarpdrive (300m)... And i made it home safely with the goods. Such is the life of cheefhydro the explore, the luckiest guy around \o/ | ||
