Good news and bad news on the trading front. A TE spike has increased my stockpile value by over a billion which I'm now trying to liquidate asaply. Some tags which I accidentally massively overstocked in a while ago (had 4x as many as I could convert because I couldn't get enough of the sister tags) have been bought in Jita netting me about 3b in cash of which about 1b is pure profit. The gyro speculation as a result of tags soaring last week is paying dividends there and I bought a load of gyros off of people in corp back then, probably only about .25b there. The web cartel is looking like it's hit a roadblock which is going to reduce the value of my stake in the market by approx 2b but I'm expecting that to change before I liquidate. Probable total losses from the theoretical max value there is around .8b but this is just less bank made than I'd have made if I got lucky with my sell time, not an actual loss. RF EMP M has lost about 15% of its value which reduces the value of my 4m rounds by approx .5b. However I'll just hold onto those for now.

This kind of thing happens most days but I generally don't do market BRs.

Given how much gets lost in my logistics network (I recently found a dozen fully fit canes I'd forgotten about) it could be a bit higher. Probably not more than a few bil though. Was actually surprisingly close to my estimates.

Hi there guys! I'm new to TeamLiquid, and I've just started playing EVE (as in, the last few hours).
Firstly, I found the OP of this thread to be incredibly informative and helpful, so thanks very much for putting the time and effort into making it.

Sadly that's the way the EVE game mechanics work when you fight fleets with people that have been told to use a proper standard fit (and aren't retard carebears/renter fits). TBH, the few times I went on aquila roams in nanodrakes it opened my eyes how the easy the kills came. We had no arazu to point crap, so it was basically jump into 2-3x numbers, align and burn out, kill tackle and than wait 30-40km out for idiots to get off the gate and come at us while we shot crap at them. No reason this tactic should ever net any kills if the other team was smart, but eve players always amaze me in all the wrong ways.

Edit: Rereading this it seems like I'm defending 0.0 blob fighting. Nope, it sucks and yeah pretty spoonfed, but that's the way ze blobs work!
