I had gcc so i stayed docked in oddelulf while kwark was getting probed down by ONLY a harb. The pest and falcon came in later, we didnt even know about the falcon till the fight started, which was the time i undocked and warped to the gate..

so we're collapsing statics to find a hisec so we could get our glorious leader back in the wormhole (after his usual getting podded shenanigans) when we find a pos bash in progress. a sieged naglfar dreadnought, couple of basilisks, tengu, 2 ravens, some tempests and a WILD ASTARTE (with blasters) are bashing a pretty decent large tower with no defenders active (i dont actually know the exact numbers of hostiles cause i just logged in as we're about to go).

corp got an impromptu fleet up and running and we are doing our usual "take half an hour to get over the plan about 10 times" waste of valuable time when hydro (ramsing on tl) accidentally decloaks on the POS grid and shows himself to the hostiles. the jig is up, so we decide to just bullrush them, warping in a heretic to bubble the hostiles ahead of the fleet. we dont have a warpin though, apart from the heretic pilot, who's in warp, so we have to wait for him to land to warp to him.

thankfully he bubbles them all with his hero double bubble fit and survives till we get in there, and they dont wanna run anyway cause they have a sieged dread on the field and their 2 basilisks probably think they can tank us. unfortunately for them, we have around 8 heavy neuts and OVER NINE THOUSAND dps and the basis die, with the rest of the enemy fleet soon following. we jump and warp in a dread to help with the killing of the hostile nag, who is an honoUrable spaceship warrior and doesn't self destruct before we can kill him (tyvm). some of the hostiles manage to escape, but not many of them.

we continue with their work, bashing the pos they were bashing (i mean we got a dread there already, so why the hell not), but its stronted and enters reinforced as it hits 25% shields. shame, it had an unpiloted obelisk and archon floating in it, and a bunch of ship hangars.

they have their revenge though, when their stealth bomber ganks my badger who's scooping bubbles that we anchored on the nullsec exit so as not to get disturbed while pos bashing. GF~

ps: i still cant figure out what that astarte with blasters was doing on a pos bash.

We need to start failing deliberately imo. Sometimes I want to kill myself as our corpies go through the motions of: assessment, excitement, assessment, ship types, reporting on hostiles, excitement, assessment of possible isk value of kill, ship types, "get in fleet", bookmarks, reporting on hostiles, exciment, SHIT THEY'RE ON THE LAST WAVE COME QUICK.

It is now almost the end of the fifth day of my experiment, so heres a quick update:

Current isk in wallet: 269mil
Current SP: 279,472
Current scan strength of probes: 83.1

Frigate lvl 4 finished today and I was finally able to get a local minor shipyard (a difficult to scan radar site in hisec) to 100%. Combining the 20mil i got from doing that with the loot from various other radars today I'm quite close to being able to plex. However, plex are currently nearly 350mil in rens, so worst case senario I wont be able to plex until day 7.

I get all of my PLEX through buy orders. They fill rapidly, so I don't think it'd be a big deal waiting for that to go.

Prices can drop in the next day or two so hold off on that idea until I have the isk.

I've put any additional probing skills on hold in an attempt to get drones 5 for a semi decent vexor by sometime next week. Granted semi decent will probably mean mostly crap but it should allow me to complete most hisec combat sites and complexs.

My goal is to end up with a gila for hisec complexs and a drake to run complexs in lowsec, as well as lvl 4 missions. Theres the possibility that I may go for tengu after that but it would certainly be a long way off.

Just got a pretty amazing fight on a belt to 500k off said belt. Opened with a bait osprey that I've seen before. I warped in with a rifter and took the bait and of course it overheated it's mwd and came at me at 2100m/s to try and scram web while local +8ed. By the time they landed on grid we were already 60k away because we were both heating and cruising at 2k+/s. However I told my rifter to get a scram on it but he was still in the middle of the belt bouncing off roids because he doesn't know how to manually pilot. Thus the osprey warped out in armour leaving me on the field with 2 harbs, 2 canes, a drake and a myrm. Game on. We play the same game with the canes but one burns at me and gets taken down to structure. Rifter goes in to scram and confirm the kill but the osprey suddenly warps in on me from the sun and I have to burn hard. I get outside my point range (the entire battlefield is moving at 1500m/s, all I achieved with the scram was preventing the cane from getting out of range at 2.5k/s (as it fled 1k/s away while I burned 1.5k/s from his charging friends)). The cane escapes in structure as the rifter dies. The osprey overheats again and my mwd doesn't have much heat left and I get scram webbed eventually. Fortunately at this point we're 80k from his friends and I have the time to fuck him up.

Unfortunately the myrm then warps in on the osprey, starting it all again. The osprey can then burn away at 2k/s because I only have a disruptor and escapes in armour again. That leaves me with a myrm on 0. For some reason he's fitting disruptor web and while webbed I can still go almost as fast as him. He lets his mwd slip for a cycle and I get clear and the nanoing resumes while the first cane (fully station repaired) returns. By this point we're a good 400k off the original warpin but I've been unable to kill anything because they have the osprey acting as v tanked tackle that can push me away while their dying ships retreat. As the myrm gets another web I warp to the sun with drones, calling that a win due to my incredible not death.

Upon landing (with burned out mwd) I saw two rapiers, a zealot and a hyperion on the sun. I'd warped at 0 (I actually didn't have time to hit 100) and they killed me. I made sure to burn out all my mods first though.
