Experiment complete. I just recently got a plex for 340mil (buyorders were also at 340mil so I didnt really hesitate snagging it). Lets check the stats shall we?

Isk in wallet before plex: 347mil
Isk in wallet after plex: 6.9mil
Current SP: 302,402
Days old: 6
Average isk/day: 57.8mil

Thus proving that you can take a brand new character, and with 5 mil for skillbooks/probes be able to plex in less than a week.

Fun fact: With an average of 57.8mil per day, it is possible to make roughly 1.5b a month just running hisec radars.

So i was playing some nice dota with some nice chilled friends of mine. We push the lane and end the game, i tab back and see a typhoon + noctis on dscan, no one in corp in local.
I start tripple boxing and log in a prober and a schkimmy. Suddenly local spikes and corpies flood local with a fleet of drake drake drake cynabal etc. I tell them to fucking dock up cause theyre interrupting my solo op. They dont obey, but the typhoon doesnt move anyway. I finish probing him and warp my draek in, the noctis is on the acc gate, while the phoon is 90km off. I immediately scram the noctis and burn with overheated mwd towards the phoon when i see the previously mentioned fleet warping in on my mission. :/
They didnt manage to whore on the noctis, however they did a few shots on the phoon

now this is an attitude that should have died out a long time ago

you do not magically become the king of the fucking hyperspace as soon as u find something which remotely looks like a target so dont start acting like you have some right to disrupt another player's eve time as soon as you do.

A competant person running lvl 4 missions can easily make 50mil or more an hour if they know what they are doing with their lp. I wouldnt be suprised if they could get a plex in a single day. My reason for my little experiment was to show new players especially that you dont have to grind missions or wait for salvage in order to make isk. The artificial time limit I set for myself of under a week was really there to keep me from getting bored and dropping the idea altogether.

Thats too bad about the phoon kill, I feel your pain.

Theres actually a bit of ettiquitte to fallow in a situation such as that. First you say in corp chat "there is ship x in system y missioning, im probing him down". This lets everyone know that they should not jump in and people will usually reply with something along the lines of: "Im x jumps out in ship y, do you want some help?".

If you fail to alert people about the situation you have no reason to rant at them when they jump in. However if you alert people to the situation and they still fail jump in, then you can rant till your hearts content.

Yeah, it was just mixed up comms. We weren't reading corp chat and Karah didn't try and contact us beyond that. We actually probed down his target and killed it oddly enough. We shouldn't have been in his local and we did lower his chances of a successful kill by being there but we didn't know so whatever.
