This guy's blog says the Catalyst destroyer is the best salvage ship but I am really keen on the look of the Cormorant. It is beautiful. pic http://www.eveonlineships.com/eve-online-ship.php?navicrip=Y2FsZGFyaS1jb3Jtb3JhbnQtMS5qcGc= Does anyone know if I'd really suffer from the lesser storage space of the Cormorant? Maybe if I get Storage Space II i could put it in a Mid-slot? (probably not). Guy says I could fit my Cormorant with extra speed due to the extra Mid slots...could I fit it with something cool like high-range scanner or wtvr also? I have literally just started reading so I will wiki around for info anyways + Show Spoiler + Caldari Destroyer Name: Cormorant Fitting: 8 highs, 4 mids, 1 low, 3 rig slots Calibration: 400 Cargo: 450 Speed: 210 Cpu: 215 Powergrid: 55 Gallente Destroyer Catalyst Fitting: 8 highs, 2 mids, 3 lows, 3 rig slots Calibration: 400 Cargo: 400 m3’s Speed: 225 m/s Cpu: 170 Powergrid: 60 Minmitar Destroyer Name: Thrasher Fitting: 8 highs, 3 mids, 2 lows, 3 rig slots Calibration: 400 Cargo: 400 m3 Speed: 240 m/s Cpu: 170 Powergrid: 70 Amarr Destroyer Name: Coercer Fitting: 8 highs, 1 mid, 4 lows, 3 rig slots Calibration: 400 Cargo: 300 m3 Speed: 220 m/s Cpu: 160 Powergrid: 75 Analysis: Looking at it from the viewpoint that you want low slots to fit cargo expanders, and at least 1 mid slot to fit a cap re-charger, the Gallente destroyer Catalyst is the ship of choice for looting/salvaging. The Amarr destroyer has more low slots, but only 1 mid – so you’re stuck deciding if you want extra speed by fitting either a mwd or ab for a speed boost, or a cap re-charger. Also, it has the lowest cargo hold of all the destroyers at 300. Cargo expanders work on a percentage, so the more initial cargo you have, the bigger boost you’ll get from an expander – thus the Catalyst wins with 2 mids and 3 lows. The Thrasher comes in second place due to its decent mids, but it only has 2 lows. I’d avoid the Caldari destroyer for use as a looter/salvager – but it does have the largest cargo hold of all the destroyers, a point made rather moot because of its 1 low slot. Another advantage it has is 4 mids, so you can easily fit an AB or MWD and still have room for cap re-chargers. All the destroyers have a high number of calibration points, and the standard 3 slots – so you should be able to fit just about any rig you want on there. Again, the Catalyst destroyer wins here because you can fill your rig slots with salvager rig rather than cargo or capacitor rigs. If push comes to shove the Catalyst is my 2nd choice in appearance anyway ![]() pic http://www.eveonlineships.com/eve-online-ship.php?navicrip=MF8zMTA3MjAwOTA2MTQwOENhdGFseXN0LmpwZw==

Make sure you read the entire OP as well. Other than that, go through the tutorial, and maybe some career agents to get your footing. You need to sent kwark a message in game, apply to corp and send him a message on tl (In that order helps : D )

with 3 cargo extenders in the lows and 1 cargo rig it has 659m³ which is enough for most missions to pick up everything(but capboosters and scraps). It has decent speed and never runs out of cap even with ab turned on.

Especially when you make a new post just to post it, and don't even make it funny. And use this wiki, its actually has information on it http://www.eve-wiki.net/index.php?title=Main_Page

after making a 14-day trial, asking on SCBW chat channel for a 21-day trial from a long-term member, and getting the OK from kwark or whoever.... 1. go to map (press F10), Search (top right), type "emol" or "emolgranlan". this is the star system you're going to warp to. set it as your destination 2. leave the map (f10), click on Autopilot in your space ship control pad (bottom middle of your screen). you will begin to move 3. the journey may take like 20 minutes. once you reach the emolgranlan starsystem, right click black space and dock at emolgranlan V - moon 12 - republic justice 4. once you're docked at the station, go to Offices (tab on the middle-right of the screen), find The Hatchery, click register

Never autopilot, once you set your destination manually right click on the next gate in your overview and warp to 0. Once there jump, then repeat. And you just have to be docked to apply to corp, just open someones info who is in the corp, click on the hatchery icon and click apply to corp. you need to also send kwark a message in game and a pm on tl And RJ is for chumps, Rfap is where the party is

Unfortunately I forgot to micromanage the fleet and tell them all what to warp in at, I assumed they knew their optimals. The result was that one cane pilot who won't be named (cause you all know exactly who our cane failpilot is anyway) landed on a hyperion, at 0. So he dropped like a stone. A legion, curse, zealot, pest and myrm landed seconds later and I called a gtfo. Unfortunately due to dualboxing and trying to save my pod the second drake got pointed and we lost a cane and two drakes. Fortunately we killed a cane and a hyp worth 270m between them for a 2:1 damage victory over mean corp. Not bad. But I wish Nou would stop being terrible.
