How much money is a lot in EVE is relative. 1 Billion ISK should be enough for you first 6 months if you don't buy PLEX (aka gametime) with the money, but wealth is very relative in EVE the biggest ships in EVE cost billions and billions of ISK and most people never get to that anyway. Rich for an average player would be motbob with 7billion ISK, rich for a veteran would be Jayme with his 90bil wallet and rich for the server would be someone like the owner of EVE Texas Hold'Em that probably has 1 or 2 trillions. How much you make is also relative, the good thing about EVE is that you can find a way to make money doing something you like as long as you are good at it. Of course sometimes you are good at something you hate. Of course this is an incredibly deep topic so I tried to keep it as simple as possible. Also Merry Christmas, hopefully everything is OK in virtual space.
