for some reason he turns off his guns for 30 seconds or so while the brutix is in low structure and doesn't appear to have noticed
downvoted to hell when I point this out in his reddit topic, clearly my standards of pvp, in which I expect the pilot to notice if his ship stops firing, are too high

Only thing that surprises me about that, is you being surprised by it.

r/Eve is even more circlejerky than your typical subreddit. You probably didn't even get downvoted for your comment but because you've previously admitted to being in FA leadership. If you had N3 flair you probably would be sitting at +30.

Not actually all that true. I've been sporting a bee flair for the past month, and as long as I play along with the circlejerk the karma keeps flowing.
Bahh he doesn't want to crash the market for something. Just wants to spend it as he needs isk for something. Ahhhh well I was going to be rich by non hatch standards

You got downvoted because your comment came off as really hostile towards a video that was well received. Also, it was nice to see a solo PvP video on /r/eve, most of the time PvP videos are just grunts F1ing in large fleet fights.
if a brawl fight is such that you can literally turn off guns for 30s and have it not tip the balance of the fight there's a chance that it wasn't video-worthy in the first place

I think that's a fair assessment, but the way Kwark put his message out there was not really conducive to discussion.

The fact that other people can legitimately appreciate that is the problem. You have to wonder how bad a player has to be to literally not notice the fact that their guns aren't firing for 30s. Presumably they're looking at the screen where useful information such as what their ship is doing and how much health the enemy ship has are displayed prominently.
ohh hey BBQ if you re sub cagali from bni wants to 1v1 you at sun, and when you let him win and scoop your corpse hes willing to fully replace what ever you lose in ship and pod. Turns out they really want your corpse.

If you want to actually convince people on /r/eve that the video is bad (which I assume you do since you posted there) then I would suggest commenting in a less hostile way so you don't just get downvoted. It's sort of like real life in a way. If you go to your coworkers and tell them they are retards for doing x then they will ignore you because you are being a dick. If you tell them "hey, you shouldn't do x for y and z reasons" then they will be more open to your suggestions because you were polite about it.

I'm pretty sure I actually have one of those stowed away from back when we were in Saranen actually lol.
