yeah, i've always thought it was pretty silly that you needed to t2 the previous gun tier to t2 the current one but it is what it is. hoped they would change this with the ship t2 requirements changes but no sign of it yet

Get them anyways? The best part about having T2'd every gun type and size, you stop caring about nerfs and buffs to gun systems. That and having 20mil sp into gunnery makes you sound important.

I already have them. My point was that they aren't needed for cap guns (which I'm not getting on prime)

But imagine the look on those smaller ship's pilot's faces when you show up in a prom fit worthy Moros with t2 battleship guns. You'll totally be hitting them and have more cap/room for more reps. Totally unkillable.
More seriously, they added t2 siege mods, its really only a matter of time before they add t2 cap guns, and you'll be ready at least.
I plan to keep prime sub BS until I have nothing left to train.
Lady Jov is nearly a perfect Moros and Nag anyway, and is ready for t2 projectiles, and only a couple weeks away from t2 hybrids. T2 cap guns will be awesome.

I was lamenting the fact that the Talos is going to be a brick, and so much use for large blasters will be greatly diminished. Zavior said it's fine anyway since Cap guns need large 5. I was incorrect in my statement about needing large 3 only and commented about such (and the fact that it's 20 days more for t2 anyway, even if I was going for cap guns). You told me to get t2 large anyway and I commented that I have them already, and prime (the character which just got them) is not training for anything but sub BS for a long while anyway, so cap guns won't matter, and that I already have a near perfect Moros alt.

I see. I was merely suggesting that having t2 blasters isn't a bad thing eventually you'll find a ship/situation you'll want them for. At the very worse some other nerf/buff will make them useful again. Also you were crazy late to the blaster flavor train.
I was busy with other things, like Gallente Cruiser 5, proteus subs, new sensor skills, leadership 5 (ugh), and some other stuff I don't remember atm. It wasn't a big deal before AQUILA though because we mostly flew Oracles and even then I was usually in a Huginn.
