EDIT: Chriss, I have heard that putting a remote armor or shield rep on your ship and then repairing one of your drones the whole time you are in the mission can cause the rats to attack you instead of the drones. I would assume that ewar (damps or ECM) would do the same thing, but I haven't tested it out myself so I don't know how effective these methods would be. | ||

This is not always applicable for stations where 10 seconds makes you get out of docking range, but most stations should be fine if you're in a slow ship. If you're in a fast ship where 10 seconds is too long, it's safer to stop ship (ctrl-space) as you undock and just wait 10 seconds before trying to warp; you'll likely get pointed as you try to align (since you were at 0 speed) but if you get pointed you can immediately dock, which is safer than the alternative. If that happens, just keep trying until your enemies get tired of pointing you and they let you warp off. | ||

I don't really understand the system, they started shooting me before I could wait out the 10 sec. Regardless station camping seems a bit lame. | ||
