They do make some great tutorial videos.
If you bored, mind giving me the low down on what started the war- backstory makes conflict mroe intresting
Our King Ueberlisk called us to war, and we answered the call.
Was watchiung this video on high AV engagements, and I had a quick quesiton. What do you do if your the big ship? Pray Webbifier works?
There are ways to fly to reduce transversal.
Would you attempt to go the same direction as the target, attempting to be as parallel as possible? I only know of a Warp scrambler to stop the MWD and webbifier to reduce overall velocity, but the smaller ship would be be faster in most cases right.
Could you rely on drones, missilies since those arn't affected by AV?
Trying to learn as much about tactics as possible.
You rely on stopping the ship from getting that close to you, once they are that close your guns are useless, you simply cannot track them.
Very few ships that fit guns can fit missiles with any real efficiency (those slots are better used on other things, such as energy neuts, or more guns), and not all ships have drone bays.

Yes, you would be trying to fly in a direction parallel to the direction of the ship you want to track. When you are part of a larger gang, it is a bit easier since a lot of times you will have light tackle (Merlins) and heavy tackle (Drakes) to hold down fast tackle from the other fleet. We have also been flying with Vigils quite a bit lately which have a bonus to target painters which help a lot with tracking small targets, especially when they are using MWDs.

You can disable it if you click the little wrench icon at the top right of the window (you can also set it to not make you click play unless there's a patch). I suggest doing these things.
