solo roaming with no sleep in drake, here are the results:
-find fellow honor warrior in wolf, team up with him to tackle a nighthawk -accidentally shoot fellow honor warrior causing him to have to warp off (bad) -then lose point on the nighthawk despite being aided by certain force multipliers because i decided to point a warrior II drone instead (so bad) -murder hapless caracal: http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=14130507 -visit ec- -get tackled by raptor with his tempest friend nearby -realize i forgot to put warriors in the dronebay (ohhh fuck), spend 5 seconds not piloting the ship to try to find the drone menu (NightmareX status) -kill raptor anyways because dual webs are balanced: http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=14130560
tl;dr should have just went to sleep

Because I remember the one time I roamed with Kwark he tried to tell me the same thing lol.
Since then of course he has become an acceptable human being <3 Me saying "stfu in local" is almost always preceded by people saying something retarded in local.

We've since changed to 'don't give a fuck, say whatever you want' status, except when you say something reaaaaally retarded during a roam aka aeth saying 'hey guys we're really low on ammo and shit and we're gonna try and leave now pls don't chase us' when we're in enemy home system with 500 in local

Why is E-uni not allowed to talk in local? Is it something to do with intel?

Is it something to do with intel? No, it's to do with denying content. Eve uni believe that anyone trying to PvP with them are griefers who are out to destroy their learning experience and bully new players. They feel that attempting to fight back against this is just going to encourage people to do it more because PvPers enjoy PvP so instead they have a denial of content doctrine. This means that they don't just dock up and refuse to play when you're nearby, they do so aggressively. They actively try to deny you any interaction with them at all to prevent you from deriving enjoyment from them in the hope that you'll move on and try elsewhere. Even when they undock they continue this doctrine, it's not enough to kill you in a good fight, they actively try and make the fight as pointless and frustrating as possible through the use of blobbing and ewar so that people who enjoy PvP even when they lose are still left feeling unfulfilled. The reason they're like this is because they believe that everyone who war decs them are griefers who want to destroy eve uni and that they have nothing to gain from interacting with them like equals. Oddly enough they also have a rule that you must post on your losses on the killboard explaining how you died which completely undermines every part of the above. Whenever you kill an eve uni pilot you always immediately go to the killboard and start f5ing to see why they thought they died. Often you'll have fantastic claims like "wolf had double sebo scram" or simply making up ships which are clearly not on the killmail. It's not always clear if they just have no idea what it was that killed them or why or if they're trying to lie so they don't get "management is looking into this" but it's always awesome.

EVE University Rules wrote:
Apart from an occasional 'GF' (good fight) in local, E-UNI members must not speak to any Enemies of the Alliance (-10 standing) or War-Targets at any time via local, private conversations or any other means than official Uni methods, such as E-UNI channels, forums, mumble, etc., and any attempts by hostile parties to contact a member outside of these methods must be reported to a director and/or diplomat immediately. Conversations with E-UNI alumni are are always allowed, however members are reminded to remain civil and report any issues to management immediately. During fleet operations there is a strict no-talking-in-local policy. Fleet Commanders may allow a 'GF' in local after a fight at their discretion.

"uh there is a Cynabal here" "oh shit he is attacking me" "I am dying" "Oh the Cynabal died"
The best thing with eve uni is when they claimed my arty wolf had tripple sebo.

Ok, I re-subbed. I really need some help, though, because the last time I played this game is (more than) two years ago and I have forgotten everything. I have about 6mil SP and I remember that I was a Harbinger pilot but I can also fly a Drake for bearing and stuff. I was actually in a Drake when I entered the game.
I think all my skills are effeciently spread out, for the most part.
I'd really appreciate if someone could hold my hand for some time until it all comes back to me. Cheers! Shoot me a PM if you are up for it, so we can maybe figure out a time where you could help me. Thanks, hugely appreciated. Meanwhile chilling in Hatchery PUB as Cardinal Rael.
Also, I'm still in Liquid Inc., which I'm told is dead. Would be cool to be invited to the Hatchery.
Good night for now, though!

Lol, well I guess that explains it. Sounds like a boring (and frustrating) place to be.

Well I have every upgrade that the one post called for on page 1191 for Faction Warfare http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=88359¤tpage=1191 and I was able to capture one base, but that was because there were only like 4 ships initally and at the end of 10 mins there were probably 10+ and I kept getting pretty low on shields. I tried like 3-4 others, and I kept having to leave after only 2 mins or so because when I got there, there were already maybe 8 or so ships near the complex.
I did all what the post called for, did I just have a bad luck string and just need to look for complex's that only have 4-5 spawns? Or are there certain upgrades that I can get in order to take less shield damage?
I also cannot continually run my shield booster, it runs out of juice in ~1 min 15 secs. I can continually run my afterburner/kinetic reflector though.
edit: It's the ones with a rigged structure also which has like 4-5 guys around it. They aggro me from super far away and I can't handle them all at once.

Are you sure you're in minor complexes? It will say minor + plus something, like outpost. Are you orbiting the button (the thing you have to capture) at ~7.5km? Are you doing Caldari plexes?
Don't really know how you could be having trouble, I followed the same post on a new char, got my first Merlin blown up, then refitted with less than the original post called for and am still managing okay. You fly around the button fast enough that most things can't hit you, and if you do take some shield damage it should be little enough that you can repair it. I've been managing with just using the afterburner and repairing as needed. Depending on the plex, you will get some that are a bit "harder" or at least do a bit more damage, but there shouldn't be anything really dangerous.

Once you've finished training all the fitting skills, you should focus on training up your cap skills, namely energy systems operation and energy management to 3. Once you've done that you will be cap stable while perma running your shield booster as well, allowing for maximum afkness.

I'm doing it again and have had sucess so far now. I think I may have entered non-minor ones, reading comprehension helps lol.
I just did one, and now I'm on another. I was orbiting it fine and seem to be doing okay now :D
If anyone could give me a link or whatever for what is the best things to buy for LP to turnaround for profit that would be great. I looked through a bunch of stuff and it all seemed you can buy it off the market for cheaper then it takes to give it to the LP store.

or just switch the mse for a cap recharger. you don't really need the mse.

Were you looking at t5 prices when everything is at a massive discount?
