The influence shows two systems in Querious switching back to KenZoku sov. Any word of a comeback?

Read my posts? Yes but.... I thought the bleeding was limited to just the weekend? They lost a ton of towers in what seems to be the holy ground of the former BoB empire (I'm assuming this based on how many major conflicts revolve around 49), but the very next update talks about huge improvements in the day to day struggle. But then the very next day they lose sov in two more systems. Which prompted me to ask: what the hell?
I suppose the continued college crunch could be cited as the cause of the calamity (lawl alliteration), but with their leadership back in town, I thought it would go back to business as usual for the goons.

Damn CoH/CoX expansion is keeping H_B from updates

Where can I go to get updated war information? I don't even play the game, but I've been following along for a couple months now. It's very interesting
Any help?
Edit: Is there is a resource out there for newbies like me who don't understand the complicated battle report data? Where does Mittani make his public posts?

-49 is a center for major conflict simply because it is the gateway into another alliance's (Against All Authorities) region, so whenever -49 is threatened, AAA shows up to defend. So, it made an excellent place for the remains of BoB to regroup with major cover from AAA/SE/ROL. It had no value to the former BoB empire, and is only being used as a staging ground.

From the Dotlan stats page, I found the following kills which took place ~9 hours ago:
http://evemaps.dotlan.net/system/OGY-6D/kills
This system has a Dyspro moon and is currently RAZOR sov 3.
Significant kills: - Goons+Allies took down 1 POS (large control tower) - Ken+Allies took down 23 carriers and a dreadnought
The caps mostly belonged to Goons and RAZOR, with a few Morsus Mihi and one from Zenith Affinity.
As much as I like to root for them, Goons are hurtin'.
Edit: there was also a big clash between Triumvirate and Mostly Harmless up in Fade. No caps were killed, though.

And here are two more Mittani updates. Keep in mind that each update talks about the day before, so the caps lost on the 13th are mentioned in the update on the 14th.
5/13 Update
I pen this update while in a foul mood. While the last evening's efforts were positive, objectively speaking, a storm is gathering on the horizon. This weekend our enemies intend to blob up and have yet another 'big push' from Thursday through Sunday; if this morning is any indication, 8 goons will be there to stop them. What the ****, seriously.
In eurotime we lucked out because our enemies did nothing of consequence - they repped their towers, and apparently took some potshots at PL placeholder smalls, but no real strategic threat manifested. A Coven gang shot an alt-corp moon miner. That's about it.
In US time we did what we set out to do - we repped up our Q2 towers, we destroyed the 5:03 ROL tower in OGY, and we replaced PL placeholder smalls in Q2 with more GS larges. There was a ~good fight~ where Karttoon and Xttz repeatedly doomsdayed KenZoku, but it was a bizzare situation - goon titans were doomsdaying and not merely jumpbridging, but there were barely 70 goons in the us tz fleet.
PA-V lost its Sov4 status at downtime and will be spammed by KIA. Period Basis is almost done. That's the good news.
The bad news is that - perhaps because the Webway changed and no one knows where the **** our bridges are anymore - people aren't showing up on ops. If we don't change this trend ASAP, come Thursday we're ****ing hosed.
5/14 Update
"If we don't change this trend ASAP, come Thursday we're ****ing hosed."
~heh~
So we lost a carrier fleet with like 20 carriers yesterday because while we had capitals - lots of them - we had no support at all. So our additional reinforcement capitals couldn't save the first group, as they couldn't clear off the dictors to get a warpin. Our fleet was tackled, helpless, for half an hour, then it died. Fun times. This was in OGY, trying to kill a hostile tower coming out of rf.
At downtime, in response to Zapawork's major hurf-blurf post, perhaps 60 goons logged in. 250 RKZ invaded I1Y, downed the jammed within minutes of their arrival (having thoughtfully had the warpin setup) meaning that we didn't even get the thing gunned before it was down. Which means no Titan support.
Meanwhile, ZXJ - a bridge system to Period Basis - and MKD - a critical bridge link in Querious - were spammed by Frontal Impact and Executive Outcomes, respectively.
I1Y has 18 friendly larges, 1 medium and 19 small placeholders. There are 5 hostile larges and 15 empty moons. The small placeholders got reinforced so quickly that many weren't timed at all. While we have blocked out more than 51% in this high-mooncount system, it is vulnerable due to the temporary nature of any small tower.
We must rally and capture control or they're going to kite I1Y all day. The enemy has called an all-weekend op - which is what Zapawork told everyone in his thread - and they plan on obliterating I1Y and other Querious stations in one massive push.

Follow-up:
http://evemaps.dotlan.net/system/I1Y-IU/kills (Querious) Initially it looked like Goons + RAZOR + Allies were getting pounded, but at some point they got reniforcements (mainly from PL and Sons of Tangra) and the losses became more even. Their opponents were KenZoku + AAA + Allies (so much for the theory of AAA being uninterested in anything beyond 49-). Ultimately, one carrier was lost by KenZoku.
http://evemaps.dotlan.net/system/JTA2-2/kills (Etherium Reach) Looks like IRC/ED got dominated in the end. Their opponents were mainly RA with some Lucky League, Ultima Ratio, and The Initiative.

The reason for AAA/etc being present there is that I1Y is a great midway system, with close proximity to empire links and R64 moons, as well as having a conquerable station. It has a lot of importance to both sides, so all allies are being called to form in that system. If this were some random system, you would see a lot less AAA/SE/ROL involvement.
