Retailers have copies of them, I somehow seriously doubt the quantities are as limited as the website makes it sound... I'm debating on a copy I found, but I think I'll pass, since it's literally over double the price of the digital deluxe edition since I have to add $15-20 in taxes (where I live) and maybe even an extra $10.00 shipping if I want to have it at my door in a reasonable fashion, almost triple over the Standard.
I would have paid maybe an extra 10-20 just because it comes with an Authenticator (which I'll likely either buy one later, or see if I can link it to my WoW one if it's the same system) and a little extra for the two digital toys... But that still leaves the rest of the stuff as being really expensive toys.

You aren't in the beta, Early access just means that before the official release there will be a "Fake" release called early access where everyone who pre-ordered will have access to the real game servers (in other words, not beta servers where your character gets wiped sorta deal)
There are rumors going around though that they might be doing some Weekend beta testing in September (source: Darthhater.com). So who knows, we might get to try out the game early if they use pre-orders in any way.
I just went to my local Gamestop and pre-ordered a couple of copies, so if you are wanting to get the CE, head to the store in person and you can most likely still get your hands on a pre-order.
However, make sure the Gamestop employee enters your code in or you will be going back and forth like I just did haha...what a day.

Do you know that they don't give a fuck about Australia, or are you just making assumptions when it could be a reasonable reason that we just haven't heard yet? Didn't they just say that it was a release thing and that other countries will be added later potentially? Sounds like they're having some issue they haven't discussed.

My best guess is that right now the problem they have with Australia and Pre-orders is that they recently announced that they won't be region locking. My US account will work just fine on EU servers and quite possibly more options as long as I'm aware of latency.
If the same holds true for Oceanic accounts, and the retailers in Australia insist on being able to mark up prices like they do with every other game that gets imported, they might be having disputes on specifics since anyone with a brain will realize that if the account isn't region locked, you are better off buying a US version VIA all the usual channels then pay 20-40 more AUD for the same game. So maybe they just don't want to insult Australian gamers even further by opening pre-orders without full details at 20-40% higher price because gamestop in Australia wants the same price in store and online.
It's my guess anyways. I seriously doubt it's because they don't want to take your money.

Yeah, they did say the brick and mortar retailers will have quite a lot more CE copies.

There will be different CE`s with early access, they will make it sound like they are sold out everywhere so ppl will panic and buy straight away. From what i read in this thread there are already some idiots paying more for the CE because they are scared, they`re not gonna get one. and early access... meaning u get to play 3 days or so before everyone else but you are still sinking money into a product you dont even know is any good. Dont get me wrong here, i am excited about this game but i have doubts also. People who played this game said its nothing but WoW in its early days, with tons of stupid grinding quests. Well the dialogue system is awesome, but the graphics and character animations are kind of skippy.

Pretty much...150$ for a CE? Lmfao...sad thing is theyll sell out im sure. I personally dont trust anything associated with EA nowadays but ill likely try the game unless it totally blows. Def not buying into the hype tho

lol i imagine half will play jedi/sith but I think the other classes will get a lot of love to considering how many people complain how half the people well be jedi/sith, so I imagine they aren't going to pick the class.

i bought a mmo few days after release once. biggest game misbuy i ever did. playd it a bit for 2 weeks and then NEVER touched it again.

That plus the second video is one of the newer gameplay videos (that weren't leaked breaking NDA...you'd have to look on torrents for those.). These were taken from someone who played at a booth at E3...so someone who isn't very familiar with the game...it's a little unexciting because of that, but familiarity should speed things up a bit...I'm more looking at the mechanics, and it looks like a lot of fun.
