I dont want to go into to much detail as i dont want to ruin the story for others but it was a significant change, im wondering what would have happened if i chose to kill him. Unless you have played through the same class twice its really hard for you to definitively say that your decisions dont affect your story, because they actually do, you can choose not to sleep with someone and yoou will have a different relationship with them throughout the story . THeir are many different directions that you can go with your companions if you dont hit at romance with them you cant suddenly flirt with them during one of their last quests and they will fall in love with you it dpends on your response. Or even in my commando storyline i chose 1 companion as my Ex O , If I had chosen another one it would have changed the story , and changed my conversations with these companions, now i will speak to one of my companions as if she is the EX O Also depending on which companion you have out at the time, during certain quests the person talking to you will have different responses when they are tallking to you or your companions. One of my class quests the conversation pretty much solely revolved around the companion i had out at the time, It would have been a completely different conversation had i brought a different companion. Their are so many different levels in which you can slightly change your storyline. Sure the general path you take will be the same, but the context within it can change drastically based on your decisions. Story line wise this game is really deep. I mean it has more dialogue than all of biowares games combined, thats including all three mass effect games and think of all the different paths and slight changes you can make in those games based on your response. Ive been noticing more and more a the weeks pass playing this game just how much your dialogue can effect your quest objectives, your storyline, your companions stories, your future responses , the future responses of NPC's within your story. Its actually kind of amazing, so much work was put into this game, Sure some of the niceties arent present, but this game defenitely has the most deep leveling system of any mmo ive ever played (and ive been playing mmo's for 12 years). I clicked on the credits by accident the other day the bloody thing went on for half an hour before i finally decided to alt f4 (once yoou start it doesnt stop until it ends) it was just getting to the voice actors as well, it was crazy.

I was starting to get disheartened before seeing the preview! :D Me too! like i said they had to cut a bunch of features etc that they where working on to meet EA's strict deadline, the launch my have suffered a bit because of it , but now its kind of nice because in the next few patches we are going to see so many different features and content added that where half finished or fully finished but not tested that didnt make it into launch. The game was in development for 6 years so you can imagine all the stuff that didnt quite make it into the game. Cant wait! 1.2 looks absolutely massive, new planet, full legacy system. New dailies on corellia, customizable ship droids, and ship droids gain affection (something i really was hoping for). New warzone, New ranked warzones. New Operation, New flashpoint (hopefully both will have bigger loot tables then the previous ones) Nightmare mode is getting its own loot table + it is actually going to be a nightmare! Parsable combat logs (not in game, but that is coming as well). 5 pages patch note pages (they are pretty huge 1.1 only had 1 page for everything including bug fixes) worth of new schematics being added to the game. Fully modifiable epic gear. Crit crafted orange items. the list goes on and on. Plus they are aiming for releasing a major content patch every 2 months (they got pretty close with 1.2 its supposed to come out early april, and 1.1 came out mid january, so 2 and a half months) 6 months from now i can only imagine where it will take us. Plus more story being added this year! (aka continuation of your class story) And in 1.3 HK51 is going to be a bonus companion you can acquire, something very intriguing to me :D

Eh. I had an operative and honestly didn't find the damage output to be that satisfying. Sentinel on the other hand....

Also they are changing the way gear drops work across all operations especially story mode. Ill post some links of the new info that got released, including a very very good interview on darth hater with georg zoller and also a decent one with James Ohlen (lol swtor esports) Links: http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/03/13/massivelys-hands-on-with-star-wars-the-old-republic-update-1-2/ http://www.darthhater.com/articles/swtor-news/19982-guild-summit-patch-1-2-hands-on-highlights http://www.darthhater.com/articles/swtor-news/19987-guild-summit-lost-island-flashpoint-impressions http://www.darthhater.com/articles/swtor-news/19979-guild-summit-interview-with-georg-zoeller Podcast on the guild summit: http://www.darthhater.com/articles/podcast/19990-episode-115-guild-summit the NDA also got lifted for this podcast today Also georg says that Melee dps in ops isnt as bad as it seems, and that sithwarrior.com theories arent always sounds, i think he goes out to say alot of them are "completely wrong" or something like that lol. Sentinel/ marauder I think put out the most melee damage, operative has a niche in the stuns and burst damage, shorter defensive cooldowns. So in good hands you can still make it work even after the class nerf. You can see in the video that my damage drops off in the fights that last longer. Got to make the openings count.

Yeah, you were picking on Hellrend (my little plush buddy). My sentinel dies to Operatives if I don't have my CC break, but even if I have it and mistime it I tend to die. I'm just jealous of your CC and insta-burst damage ![]()

I thought the story quests for each class were pretty good (that I have played so far), and the progression with side quests along with your story quest is pretty smooth, but after the first time, all the convos you want to do are just space space space space space. I don't listen to NPCs talk anymore unless they have boobs (with the exception of grannies). ![]() They can't really address the disconnect between main and side stories in a patch. They would generally have to redo the entire game. WoW revamped a lot of old quests in Cataclysm which I thought made the zones a lot more interesting, but it took 6 years before the felt the need to. Hopefully they will make new zones and planets more enjoyable. But right now I am barely playing anymore. The time I spent was still pretty fun.
