My guild's already cleared Eternity Vault and last night we downed Karraga, probably faction first for our server. Boss fight is a bit hectic, but it was largely due to bugs that it took as many attempts as it did, once we lucked out and the one bug didn't occur, we dropped him quickly. Even got a speeder out of it.
Normal raids are roughly on a par with hardmode Black Talon.

Normal raids = WoW LFRaid
Hardmode ~= WoW Normal
Nightmare < WoW Hard (meaning IMO, nightmare is easier than WoW hard... much easier).

Anyone else find this game just gets absolutely, astonishingly blah at 50? I mean I ran some HM flashpoints, ground up to rank 40 PvP and now find myself only logging on when my guild wants to do operations. I mean don't get me wrong I think the story and leveling was really well done but the game at 50 seems so much like wow but with no real competition or reason to do anything.
The PvP itself is really stale and I have no reason to leave the fleet other than ilum. I don't know maybe I am just burned out on traditional MMO's but I feel the replay value at 50 drops off pretty fast.

I tried it the stories are great but the side quests are to much a part of the leveling, the story is great though and I don't regret buying the game I just feel the game itself at 50 is lacking.

I'm running into that as well already, I only log on to raid and even then I don't really feel like logging on, after release I played every free second I had.
I'm also totally burned out on traditional theme park MMO's though so didn't really expect it to last forever, but expected at least 3-4 months.
In the beginning I was so hyped for Outlaw's Den, and it was amazing the first week or so when I hit 50, FFA PvP all the time.
Then they removed the chests for a few weeks and people stopped going there, and never really started again.
And nothing about similar PvP stuff in all the "coming up in SWTOR" plans, seems they're just going for the warzone route and that's just not going to interest me enough.

Yeah, I know what you mean, doing 1k "kill 20+40+pick up/use object" quests in order to experience the 50-100 class quests is amazing.

But after doing it once, doing again really doesn't sound that fun.
I agree with esoterric, this game is worth the price of admission for the leveling and some flashpoints and huttball, but beyond that... I've lost interest.
They're on the right track though.

I will play PvP on my main and then quest on other characters when I hit 50. If I level enough characters to 50 (I bet I only will do one more after my smuggler) and there's no more content, and I start to think that PvP is boring, I will quit.

My favourite part of this game was leveling up, despite all the bugs along the way. Now that I'm at 50 there doesnt seem to be alot of end game potential like there is in wow. I would level up another character but then come back to the whole not much end game content.
Also I don't enjoy the PvP that much, its alright just kinda gets boring after a while.

yeh endgame is pretty boring. Also it is too RNg which doesnt suit in a casual game like swtor. i mean i loved/hated RNG in heavy grind korean style games because it made the game much more exciting. in a casual game like swtor having rng loot bags that make pvp so imbalanced aint fun rly. i have opened 15 bags and only gotten 3 champion pieces.
anyway, i think apart from dailies and 2-3 hard modes there is no incentive/need to log in.
i turned 50 this saturday and hard modes have been rly easy even though i am so squishy for a tank. only boss i couldn;t down was bonus boss in khaon under siege, due to lack of cc. everything else has been a breeze apart from 2 fights in directive 7 where you oughta check tactics online to beat them, but after that shit is easy.
havent tried any operations yet, how do they look so far?

Just rolled a dark Jedi Knight(tank) after all three of my roommates bought this over the weekend. Made it to 10.5 in about 5 hours, and I'm lucky the servers turned off. I played WoW for like 3 years BC through early WotLK, and I hated lvling. I actually really enjoyed this the choices just made it fun, even though it is the same mindless grind of every MMO. Mainly bought it to play flash points and operations with my roommates so I need to catch up to them tomorrow.
Anyhow I hope they allow mods soon. I'm fine with preventing DBM like mods, but bag mods, mouseover healing(I didn't look at the macro capabilities are there any?), and most importantly bar mods, targeting mods, threat mods, and damage meters. I know they could implement functionality, but in reality millions of users will each want slightly different setups and mods is by far the most effective way to deal with this.
We will see how endgame PvE content is. I hope there are challenging flashpoints(Akin to TBC heriocs PLEASE). All of my roommates played TBC so if instances are like wrath heroics it will be a little disappointing. Can anyone at 50 tell me how hard the hardest difficulty stuff is?

If you are looking for a good MMO to play please god pick up Rift. It is so much better than this unpolished peice of garbage that should have just been a single player game.
Not trying to troll or bash people for playing it...but if you are thinking of wasting 50$ on this please god don't. Following are some reasons not too:
Next to no Character customization
Unbalanced to the moon PvP
TERRIBLE Auction House
Drop party after each PvP match (I know it is small...but TONs of little unpolished things like this that are very annoying)
No auto-attack (personal pet peeve of MMOs)
PvE retardedly easy and world PvP almost non-existant
tl:dr DO NOT BUY THIS GAME AND INSTEAD GO GET RIFT AND PLAY IT IS SOOOO MUCH FUN!

To late khaymus, bought swtor, loving it, still playing it but sorry you didn't enjoy it :/. I wouldn't buy it though if you aren't sure if you are going to like it or not. Look up youtube videos, wait for trials if you are seriously not sure if you will enjoy the game or not.

while i can agree with not reccomending the game, i would not reccomend any one play an equally boring Rift lol
