I am ringing a decent amount now, and a lot of players/teams claim HS but they definitely aren't HS (compared to some of those teams playing in IDEC Earth right now). i dunno, i would rate our team a mid-high skill team. Alot of teams are over confident on their abilities. Most of the teams we play we normally roll over, or win just a long game. Most of our games are won through our mechanics so its not that we are playing bad players, but we do out play most of our opponents. I would say most teams are made up of 1-2 high skill and the rest are mid skill players. We haven't really met a US team in CW rooms (without like looking in league rooms for them) that we can't beat (not saying they wont ever beat us though, weve lost some). However, when we play with corrupted he finds us Euro teams in the day time. I figured as much, I hang around the normal rooms for CW finding and don't see that many good US teams looking for scrims, like blight, ps and pz are the most active. Either way, I find US teams to be gimmicky relying on a certain pick to get them through the game while Euros actually try to out pick you from top to bottom, kind of like that recent SUP (now known as Decisive btw) versus Razer.CGC game. We don't really rely on gimmick line ups though. The last couple days we have run cm just once or twice (both times to counter clockwerk with just harsh nuking lanes). I would say our line ups are really diverse for most games, although it feels that in a decent portion we run potm due to her just being so versatile =P. When we do picks we also throw ideas out just how the game might go. I really like most of our picks as some of them are not main stream and under used =P. edit: we played with mikey the other day and rolled some team who tried to tri lane btm into all in push. we stopped a krob kotl dazzle tri lane with lich kunkka lol That is a really bad tri lane lulz, you don't play for push with a tri-lane like that. When I say gimmicky I meant for matches that matter like in tourneys, from Fear's Clinkz from way back to DOGKaiser's Syllabear to Merlini's Silencer/Zeus to Chu's Meepo to DoP's Dark Seer/Visage/Treant, there's always been some affiliation with a NA player and their respective defining hero or picking style. I don't see that in Euros or Asians that much. And no I am not talking about picking good heroes, I am talking about the quality of the team dropping just because their hero was banned (or could have been banned), namely aimed at DoP and DOGKaiser. I just feel the NA teams use their picks/bans too much as a crutch instead of changing play styles with their heroes.

We stopped their tri lane and just got hoods + hp and ran them over in a 5 man counter push mid.

Second game he was doom and we just didnt have wards in the right spot. I kind of wish i was cm that game again just because i prefer my ward style over rads =P.

They'd throw all their nukes at me hoping I wouldn't get doom off, then you guys would clean up. Rinse repeat. i know he did fine, but i just prefer where i place my wards over him, thats all =P.

They were counterwarding a lot, and I didn't have money to ward and countward myself, so I had to keep placing them in different spots that would give us decent vision without the wards getting killed.

4. Every player must have some experience with all of the heros and be able to play more difficult heros well if they mesh better with the team. Alright, I think I've about experienced all there is to experience with just casual playing and it's not that fun anymore. I figure before dota gets boring I might as well give it my best shot and see if i can hit high tier. My bnet background has proved insufficient for you guys so I'll need to adapt. What should I focus on first, where do I get this information and which of you higher ups want to help me?
