outside of me having to make pretty much every kill/team fight possible, the game woulda been over much earlier had our tinker not lost his lane.

Do you guys turn on Allied Colours? I never got used to rememberin which colours belonged to which team, but I'm sure it's useful to be able to tell at a glance which hero that coloured spot belongs to

I've just started using them in the beginning of matches, though sometimes turn them off after the laning phase ends if there's someone I wanna watch out for (usually is). Sometimes I can't see dark green, brown or purple on the minimap, so allied colors helps me alot. Also, I often confuse teal with pale blue which has led to more than a few of my clumsier "wtf" deaths.

(i.e. I'll be on sent and teal will ping pale blue. Pink is next to pale blue. I'll run over to "help" teal and die because there is no teal there... just pale blue and pink... yeah).

What did you use to change your tileset? I tried a tool before, but it didn't work

It's a tool called DOTA Theme Manager v3. The tileset I prefer is Beach because it seems to obscure the heroes the least, but there's also snow (invoker disappears), Volcanic (everyone except invoker disappears), and standard which is just standard.

my eyes are so fucked to colors that i just deal with player colors as is. i can't see brown or purple(hence why i'm always brown), and sometimes dark green on the minimap, but switching to allied colors makes it worse for me. i know what hero is what on the minimap based on the color, so i choose that over being able to see all the dots. besides, it's only three colors anyway and i eliminate one of them so it isn't too bad. i really hate playing against alv when he's purple though, since he always roams :[

Yeah it makes sense to not have allied colours because you can tell which hero is where immediately, but having red/cyan is more foolproof so you don't run into a fight by yourself

That game made me cringe,but I guess from your point of view it was enjoyable.

Zelly, you really have 0 clue about playing tinker btw. That was absolutely pathe-fuckin-tic what you did vs my Sven at mid (lol sven mid).

Our lack of coordination threw the game away in the end, but props for the 42524524 hexes anyway. I wish we had more than one, too.
