At the end of the day, just play your favorite race or hero, the one that looks the coolest, it's really a matter of getting used to it. That being said, I do believe there's more newb-friendly heroes in the game, which by my definition do not have many (or any) skillshot and can still be very effective even if you screw up during the early game. Slither is more newb-friendly than Chronos. His abilities are fairly easy to aim and even if he has poor farm and a level disadvantage, his ulti by itself can turn a fight around in pubs. Chronos slightly misplacing his ulti can ruin any teamfight. If the word ''easy'' isnt appropriate, let's say he's a more forgiving hero. | ||

Dota 2 will be awesome hopefully in the new player training / tutorial area I'm hoping. So before the first game most players will know basics of lane control / items / etc. The real problem is people just feeding horribly / auto attacking with melee while being harassed etc and those are the ones that usually quit and never come back. | ||
