(The entire bot lane is hilarious in general). If you just want to see bm, it's in the latter half of part 4, about 6 minutes in.

How is this BM?
Go to part 4 of that game, about 6 minutes in. (It's at the very end of the match) Summary : + Show Spoiler +
Essentially a player on the team replaced someone who knew the game well with a friend from dota who had never played hon before and eventually thew the match, actually letting teammates die as accursed (ie he refused to heal someone at all by the end). A lot of rage comes out in a lot of directions, a votekick for the accursed that only barely fails, a player calls a clan trashshit with no manners, ragequits, after getting completely wrecked the losers claim they are taking their free win because their opponents were 25 minutes late instead of 15 minutes late. They then rage really hard at the caster in the aftergame chat, then proceed to rage more on the hon forums about it . The entire match is pretty decent as well. (The archive of the thread : http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/archive/index.php/t-88366.html ) The funny part is that I actually thought their accursed player was doing fine and that it was the vindicator who basically lost them the game, in addition to extremely poor item choices. shroud and pk on soulstealer? Really?

Just got back from a small clan get together. Played the shit out of that all night.. I've actually played that map for a little over a year now but last night reminded me how much fun it can be. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, it's a hacked version of dota where you get to create your own hero by combining skills from different heroes in regular dota.
Each player gets roughly 10 heroes as his pool and you can pick 3 normal skills + 1 ult from any of those heroes. There are some combinations the game doesn't allow though. In my last game, I tried to take centaur's return damage passive + alchemist ult + morphling's str/agi moprh but the latter two cannot coexist on a single hero.
If all the players know what they're doing, you'll end up playing some epic games. When a hero that has teleport/fissure/LSA/doom is typical, there's going to be a lot of kills in the game
Share some funny skill combinations. I'm ashamed to say that I'm not creative but my personal favorites are:
kunkka's cleave + vendetta shadowraze + stun + blink (just fun for getting >1 kills per minute) teleport + any roaming skill
we used to play it pretty often, the problem is the amount of dumb imba you can get in this game because you can pick whatever you want, omg was much better because drafting forced you to be creative since you didnt have the whole pool to choose from and random was fun too.
feast, mirror image, berserkers blood, tinys ult, ravage, are all high tier abilities, plus waveform on any long ranged hero. some already imba combos were banned like tidebringer and enchant totem. i dont know if they banned it but life break + maledict is pretty much instakill on a single hero without magic immune, then theres also focus fire + bash with something like shukichi
edit: overpower impetus is gay too.
and there is also repel, bash, greater bash, and coup de gras ^_^
Jinada/Meld is gay too. then also burrowstrike cog dispersion tc ult on strength hero, etc etc etc. the amount of potential imba combos are gay, yeah and rage and repel are also top tier abilities
coup de gras is only decent, bash and greater bash are crappy they only synergize really well.
tree ult, bara passive 3rd tier
pugna lifedrain with ag scepter + es passive is permastun aoe literally. (this really really really needs to be changed. If you havent tried it's stupid.)
Also essence shift + any ranged agility hero
beserker blood with shallow grave
The other problem i hate about LOD is there is too much stun stacking. Its too strong if there are like 10 seconds of disable on 5 heroes..
shift and ranged agility isnt that bad unless with the right synergy, mainly because of the amount of disables you face
scepters only applicable on the original hero unless they changed it. well i'd imagine vaccum on yourself with that, but pugna ult costs so much mana anyway
the game is impossible to balance, the problem is everything is accessible with whoever gets abilities first, needs to be like ability draft so that things are limited and selection is controlled, thats why i liked omg mode
Um... Most people play -sd so its not a first come first serve scenario. The only versions I've played the scepter works on ure ult not the hero model. I'm not saying everything needs to be perfectly balanced but they need to take out pugna ult and es passive, its completely ridiculous. With the right model i.e. pugna or another high int hero your basically invincible. Especially with a good escape or initiation spell.
Essence shift plus a ranged hero can be beaten, it is just really strong. I mean think about it. The big problem with slark is his stats suck, hes not ranged, and he has a crappy disable. You can fix that in LoD.
Almost, every game i see it chosen with slark ult (or ravage/tree ult/or beastmaster ult), an escape spell, stun, or some really strong passives or farming skills.
The other thing that is too strong is ezalors channeling spell it lets you farm too fast with a soul ring. It does 500 damage with a huge aoe. I've seen get players plan their hero around that spell (stuns blinks etc).

what is sd in lod? still single draft? the last version i played you picked a hero and then you picked any abilities you wanted
LoD isn't meant to be very balanced, the only way the game can be somewhat balanced is if its in a bans and drafting, just as in captains modes.
yes essence shift is good but it can be beaten because of stupid disable and nuke combos plus potential pushing strats that pubs dont bother doing. and there will always be top and shit tier ability picks which is why i think LoD is as stupid as wtf mode. the omg maps were much better

i have never seen or played HoN(and never will) but i like the points the caster is making
also awesome that he mentions Nony vs Mondragon finals ^^ dissy why so manner <3
I think IGN is going to start up a HoN tournament based on the fact that they are doing that IGN prime account promotion with S2, and in that most recent interview on the front page the esports director said they were working on introducing a new game.
^ and those dota2 leaks are a couple weeks old, and confirmed fake.

Yea, those last leaks were pretty much obviously fake. Funny people are arguing about them.
'Things glow when they can be killed with a melee attack' And?
it doesn't really make last hitting easier when you're up against another person
Yeah if you're waiting for the creep to glow before winding up your attack, you aren't gonna get a lot of last hits against another person. Keeps the derp out of free farming a lane I suppose though
