not very useful.
+3 isn't very much, razor isnt that great of a push hero and needs the continuous stream of regen + damage block more than aoe heal. razors passive generally discourages people from wanting to burst him down (esp with target spells) so yeah you dont really need it as much.

Well yeah for competitive play LoL is just junk but theres alot of little things in hon too.
No orb walking - like take viper vs arachna, to maximise vipers poison shot you hit the hot key click the hero then move towards them to help chase then repeat. To maximise arachna you right click the hero and right click web shot.

Phase boots - I don't know what it is but they are fucking retarded in hon. You look at pro dota replays PB are used like 10-20% In hon its like 80-90%. Everyone moves at rediculous speeds.

Team fights are a cluster fuck and a half. The game is about decision making, timing and reactions. The game feels faster so there is less decision making and therefor less chance for better players to take advantage of their edge.

Hero ports are inconsistant. Heroes have mostly the same skills they did in Dota but some gained secondary functions on their skills. Take Leshrac(Torturer), exactly the same except the 3rd skill also pulls heroes together ala Dark Seer. Sniper(flint BW) shrapnel/flare Or take Void(chronos) does his first skill really need to deal 200~ damage? It doesn't in dota...

I don't know I'm probably bitter that Hon isnt Dota2

I suppose you are referring to discounted utility with "d", but these numbers have really no reason to be... also, i had trouble following this as usually u do x / (1 + d). I understand now why "d" was negative, but it still doesnt make sense that laning phase is when the discount rate is less (from -0.1 to -0.9). If the value of one HP right now becomes discounted from 1.00 to 0.10 in the next second, it means that you are in dire need of HP right now, whereas if the discount rate is -0.01, one HP now will become as useful as 0.99 HP later, meaning much less urgency

Also, as i pointed out, you offered absolutely no support for choosing those numbers, making it seem rather arbitrary. Im not intentionally discrediting your efforts, but if you want to make a strong point and convince others that one item is strictly better than another, you really need to support your arguments instead of throwing complicated numbers and graphs to impress the unknowing - riki, im looking at u >:[ (jk)

did you consider making a model with utility and diminishing returns (u dont need one HP when ur at 100% life as u need it when ur at 1%), with a variable for rate of incoming damage (i.e. laning against nukers as opposed to laning against harassers)? i think that would be easier to understand and probably more informative. also, the difficulty of saving up 875 gold as opposed to 600, 100 or 90 should be taken into account if such a model is made to come up with a good estimate of what item is the most efficient.

Yes. Less time to make choices means better players will rise due to their skillz. There is orb walking in this game, you're just bad at it. Phase boots are not picked up 80-90% in higher bracket games, get out of the 1500s. This is a different game, don't think of heroes as ports think of them as heroes.

That is why they are sending lols your way...

TL;DR: Stop being bad, it's a much more fun game when you're good.

I'm not bad (im not good either) just frustrated and jaded. I've played >25 games and im at 1750mmr. Orb walking doesnt seem to add any benefit in HON is what I should have said (I may be doing it wrong but if its the same as dota then im doing it right), you attack just as fast by right clicking than by manualy doing it. I cant speak to anything above 1800mmr but so far it seems PB are picked ALOT more than in Dota. I remember looking at the item use stats on getdota.com and PB was like >5%.
