It doesn't do any singular thing well, especially with Force Staff being released, so you gotta get the most out of it. | ||

Basically I used it for situations where the opponent(s) have better options to gain a quick advantage just from the match up, spacing or strategy, or when LoA was being used heavily, as a hard counter to his bullshit shield and borrowed time. Think Necrolyte and the problems he runs into, I can use the mana regen to complement sadist, the movespeed to space myself easier, or defensively self-cast to prevent a focus in team fights. This is assuming I am not just sitting in a lane and farming of course and someone else is getting that Mekansm. But right now Force Staff does the most important thing, takes care of move speed and let's me offensively use it to space or defensively cast to run, pick up some mana from the staff component. I can't consider it as a core item for any hero, it's one of those for the situation on some heroes. It's definitely one of those items that doesn't get enough love, making an opponent un-targettable some times works out very well in your favor. | ||
