Akuma looked a little bland which is disappointing, but I guess it's hard to tell from short preview vids.
What do those who have played it think? As good as the hype?

So it's like if I can get a SE and just mod the stick and buttons im down with that HRAP EX? But yeah I understand. That thing might be sold out all over just like the game itself. hrap ex way more than 80 dollars. its like as much as a TE.

Supercancelling only works with the blue bar. Easy way to practice would be doing hadouken xx shinkuu hadouken. Because the shinkuu hadouken is QCFx2 + P input, too super cancel you just do QCF+P (To do the regular hadou) then QCF+P immediately after to do the super. You can do it with shoryuken too. the input would be f, d, df, Punch, f, d, df, f, Punch. Gotta do it kinda quickly though.

unlike any SF games, this game teaches you the basic and how to do easy combos. (you would still have to perform it ofc) flying spin kick to a shoryu only works for Akuma,

I'd say classic street fighter is more satisfying to play, with the great sprites, great mechanics and juicy sound effects (same for SF3). SF4 isn't something i'm excited for, i'll wait for Tekken 6 BR, while playing T5DR online, You'd enjoy SF4 then. The last SF purchase I have was SF2 Turbo for SNES. It plays like SF2 but faster, more moves and more in depth. The control is amazingly tight and the 3D is more as if the sprites were brought to life. It's so nostalgic and yet advanced for this generation you'll feel completely satisfied, slake your combo thirst and you might accidentally reach in your pocket for a quarter or two. If anyone wants to play via Xbox LIVE, my id is Dardanger. Feel free to add me, you'll kick my ass while we talk about Starcraft. :p

Bring it =P | ||

YES, easily even better than the hype IMO. There was so much hate for it when the screens and vids first came out. Gouki is REALLY GOOD. His Ultra SGS is awesome. You can Ultra on reaction to most supers and you'll just grab them. Teleports are useful for once. His air fireballs are great because they control a huge part of the screen, AND on hit, they let you walk up and link into far standing HK, which links into c.lk or c.lp, tatsu.
