Where can I find a list of achievement unlocks/character unlocks as well as move/combo lists? HD Remix is only for PS3 and 360. Megman Man 9, you can get from Nintendo online store. It's one of the channels.

How do I do a freaking q bomb anyways? all it says is charge a K and release, but nothing happens wtf? Charge means hold it for 2 seconds. The reason you can't input multiple commands could be that the keys of your keyboard are in bundles, and every bundle can only transmit X amount of signals at a time, so try changing your key-bindings around. I use WASD for movement, YUIO for 3k+punches and HJKL for focus+kicks and I have no problem with it. If this doesn't work you should probably get a new keyboard.

Edit: (WARNING: PC version) Also, It doesn't seem like I'm able to save replays locally, so the only replay I am able to save is my highest CP tournament win? That's pretty dull seeing as the replay feature is already implemented, and the replay section is on the main menu.

Just completed all normal trial challenges for Zangief and Rose. Trial challenges for other characters are currently at 4th of normal and there's like one part of one combo that stops me from going on... I guess it's just about getting used to timings, key shortcuts and buffering some moves.

That really doesn't work at all, but eventhubs has everything you need for unlocking characters in a very detailed way. I've got myself a 360 for my birthday (few weeks ago) + 2 controllers + SF4, so I've been trying to improve ever since (I always sucked @ fighting games, harder than I did at shooters, which was pretty bad itself). Well, didn't really work so far. I always liked shoto characters (Sakura in particular <3) so I tried to get good at her, Ken, Ryu and Akuma before realizing that Zangief is seriously piss easy. I dunno why, maybe I just suck at executing QCF but seriously Gief's moves come to me a lot more naturally. I really want to give Rufus a try too (because he's gay) and maybe Abel (because his super / ultra are damn cool). I really need to improve my execution for that. At least I can execute FADC reliably now ![]() Too bad our house setup (atm, I'm trying to fix it) doesn't allow me to go online, due to the cables simply being on another floor than the machine itself ![]() Edit: A question for you experienced Gief users out there, how do you do 720 when you're just standing? I can do his ultra / super as a reversal, or buffer it while I'm jumping, but I always fail if I try to execute it on the ground ![]()

I think replays were only saveable if you are in top 5000 and in championship mode or something. I'm definately in the top 5000 on the PC version and the ONLY replay that saves is the highest amount of CP I've collected while winning one championship. I'm just saying that it's stupid that they won't let you save replays locally. ^^^ "experienced Gief user"... reactionimage.jpg. You can definately FADC into 720, you've got atleast a second to do the input after you dash. As far as the cables go, drill some holes, ezpz.

In the end minimal movement is going to be the fastest. And that means small buttons are better. Only advantage I can think of is doing anything more than a quarter circle. It's probably easier to do a Q circle on a keyboard as it can be done faster and more accurately. But doing a 720 is mad. A game pad is going to be hugely inferior to both. Also, why use wasd? Because you are used to control movement with left? Does it get around input limitations? How can I figure out if my keyboard has anyway? And what I should map to separate stuff? It does ppp ultras while it doesn't seem to be very lenient with that. In the end linking combos hitting that elusive 1/60th of a second is going to be the main difficulty. Are there ever real guides or training programs for that?

Your input will look like this: f, df, d, db, b, u, f, df, d, db, b + PPP. The diagonals aren't actually important, just as long as you get 540 degrees in total, but that's likely what your input path will look like. The challenge lies in hitting those last critical contact points after the up direction (forward, down, back) within 6 frames (because Zangief has 6 frames of pre-jump animation compared to 4 frames for other characters). I've never been able to land it myself on the 360, only by cheating by programming a G15 macro on my keyboard, but it is possible. Your best bets for landing the Ultra: - Buffer 720 while you're closing distance with s.HK or c.MK. This is especially useful against characters like Guile or Balrog or Bison who are constantly crouching and punish with something like s.RH or c.RH. You can bait them with the recovery of either of these moves and the Ultra will grab their extended hitbox. - Buffer 720 while closing distance with Jab Green Hand after an SPD or some other knockdown. Ultra on their wakeup when they're usually going to block or attempt some non-invincible move. - Mixing up j.d+HP with empty jump into Ultra (I get people with this most often). - Tick throw. Jab blockstring while buffering 720. Circle such that when you're inputting your jab, you're crossing ub/u/uf, then end at 540 degrees and PPP. Just make sure not to push the opponent too far. You have other options too, just remember that 720 can be buffered off of anything you do. EX 360K is pretty garbage in general, but it does have one pretty cool trick with it, that you can cancel it into Ultra if you're fast enough. EX 360K will absorb a hit (hyper armor) and close the distance which means free Ultra for you. The input is 360+KK then quickly 360+PPP afterward.

Didn't see the video of zangeif, abel, and balrog all doing armor cancels? Only character I think it's practical for is balrog though, sadly. For some reason, I see a lot of geifs do j.lk land 360 + k / kk over the spd. Don't know why, but enough have done it that there must be a reason >.>

It also has better mixup potential because you end up right next to the opponent. It does less damage than MP or FP SPD though. Realistically it's not worth using unless you a) need to take them to the corner or b) you know you need the extra 1-frame speed due to frame advantage etc. The downside to missing the 360+k means you open yourself up to an enormous combo because you'll be running around like an idiot. It's too risky.

I use WASD for an easier transition when I finally get my stick because my right hand will be doing essentially the same, but they cost an arm and a leg to get shipped over here. D: For hard links, learn "plinking", since you can't double-tap keys on a keyboard. If you press multiple attacks at the same time, the strongest attack will be used. So if you press HK then MK immediately after (1 frame), your input display should look like this: 2. MK+HK 1. HK That's 2 HKs. This makes any 1 frame link into a 2 frame link because you have 2 chances to hit the frame. Same input method as kara-throws.
