Regardless I would be doing them if I was near my ps5 but I'm on vacation right now and missing out on those sweet sweet primogems. Southlight United States11767 Posts December 13 2020 20:42 GMT #284 Yeah as I said a few times you gotta treat this game similar to FF14 where you play it after main content patches (atm seems like every two patches aka 1.2 and 1.4, so roughly every 3 months?) and then in between you have daily filler and such but it's not the end of the world to miss out on them. Some of the paths and restrictions are annoying but I don't mind the event too much. I'm not sure what's wrong with it per se, it just feels off the mark a little.

Spazer Canada8031 Posts December 13 2020 22:19 GMT #285 IMO this event just shows a complete and utter lack of thought from the devs. The "challenge" feels artificial. Destinations are purposely placed in hard to reach locations. This is not an issue gameplay-wise, but it makes very little sense with regards to the quest itself. Why are these people ordering food, then fucking off to remote locations? This would honestly be fine if the gameplay was fun, but it isn't. 90% of Genshin is map traversal. Imposing restrictions on movement isn't so much of a challenge as it is excruciating. That they force enemy spawns in your path during this quest just adds insult to injury. The reward sucks, and I'm not even talking about the mats/primos. Everyone is an ungrateful dick. I saw a suggestion on the subreddit that it should've been named characters placing the orders, but I don't think it even needs to go that far. This was a prime opportunity to do something, anything with the world. Have an old couple order tea from the guy at Stone Gate. Have an adventurer order food from a viewpoint so he can eat while he takes in the scenery. Have Cloud Retainer order food because even though he's a pompous adepti, he still recognizes the superiority of Liyue cuisine. Once that's all in place, then you can have one dude be the typical Uber driver experience, and everyone can laugh about it. All this would've taken is a couple lines of flavor text. You can't see the destination until the timer starts and the timer runs on all screens These are minor QoL details to be sure, but it all contributes to the overall annoyance of the event (Though apparently PS4 has 30s load times? Can't imagine what that feels like). As it is, the event is just a worse commission.

Why? Who knows. A physiological experiment? First delivery is literally a trap. Get to the end, then you failed. Somebody is cackling at that one. Take too long chatting to the character and the timer can also run out as it still ticks away. Enemies spawn just so you have to be pushed into another route. Every customer is, well as you say, an ungrateful dick. It makes no sense anyways. Apparently everyone runs a delivery service in the restaurant but they deliver personally so if the restaurant is busy they can't deliver themselves, huh? How do these people even run a business? Oh and since you are the only person in the world who even knows what a teleporter does, every restaurant chef is asking what should be impossible, so you just casually revealed that you have godlike powers to some random chef every day like it's no big deal. At least today's event was ok. Yesterday's was sheer annoyance. I literally tried to scale this stupid cliff 10 times, fell off a few times because I refuse to use food to deliver food, and jumped off early because I thought I would run out of time, only to see the blank expression of the customer's face as I slowly drifted under the cliff he was on because the game didn't highlight where exactly he was. Oh and the one where you have to either clear out 2 hilichurl camps or clear out a geovishap otherwise be chased by a teleporting geovishap. Thanks Mihoyo. Though I do rather like that sound effect for the event. That china bowl on stone sound. Shame that if you click on the event reward nothing happens, you are meant to click on the words to claim it. What a failure of GUI.

Every single character of mine gets blown to pieces by this POS, I've tried running different team comps to make the floor easier, but what always ends up happening is that eventually it gets to be a 1v1 with me vs the gunner, and I get destroyed because he keeps swirling around to target me when I'm autoing. Seriously considering kitting up some kinda crit based Amber so that way I have Fischl and another bow user for each team and just shoot him from a distance the entire fight. My only other ranged attackers are Barbara, Sucrose, Lisa and Ningguang. But with the sheer amount of dmg I'm taking I feel like I have to do something of the sort.

Southlight United States11767 Posts December 14 2020 15:19 GMT #291 So first of all you probably know this but all the Fatui have mega buffs when their shield is up. On Floor 7 it takes like 2 or 3 hits from any sort of fire to knock out his shield and knock him down. I believe without his shield he's only got the jump, the belly ram, and a 2-second duration ice thrower that does not lock on target (ie. he swings it from left to right and then his attack ends). If you must fight him while his shield is up (ie. you have a Xiangling and need to drop Guoba near him), he actually loses targeting when you char swap. That is, he locks onto whomever was on the field at the time of his attack, so as long as you stay on other chars he'll keep charging ahead blindly.

Can't even believe it, I've gotten all of the banner characters basically just spending money on Welkin Moon and the battle pass and doing the events, I feel like my luck has been pretty damn good! Now I'm probably going to be spending the next few weeks doing nothing but ley lines and collecting ore So much for using Amber. So what should I equip her with? My Noelle currently has Whiteblind, but I could just take it from her if it's her best weapon. I have an Aminus that no one is using, and I've been using some of my other weapons on the other two banner claymore users I've got but if Whiteblind is the best pick I'll probably do that since I don't think that Xinyan and Noelle would be likely to go in the same team.

I would probably get them to lvl 20, and put a medium leveled flower on them. The rest of it is knowing attack patterns, so you don't swap in your lvl 20 character in the middle of an enemy attack. Else just hp; or energy recharge, if you want to use their ulties again at some point.

IMO her shield is a bit questionable, and is more useful for the cleanse than for anything else. She's probably best on some sort of phys damage team.

There aren't that many characters with shield ability so any shield is better than none. It has 76-90% of Noelle's absorption which is quite reasonable considering Noelle's cooldown is 24s (20 with a perfect 16 hits) whilst Xinyan's is 18, so Xinyan's shield works out better if all you are doing is popping the shield and switching characters assuming constant steady damage (a bad assumption to be honest). What other characters with these sort of shields are there? Diona's shield works out about the same as Noelle's and Xinyan's. Beido E shield isn't really a shield. Zhongli is a 5* character but his shield doesn't work out as outstandingly better (about 20%) other than the 100% uptime. Xinyan's cleanse only works on herself and are there any other pyro self infusers other than Bennett, who btw can apply to the whole team? Jean as well I think. I don't think any other shield abilties can cleanse either. But I don't think floor 7 have any need to cleanse anyways.
