It's not that I don't have games to play on the PS5, it's just I don't want to rush through them all before more stuff comes out. The biggest thing, like you said, the games aren't really here yet. So pacing is needed. I was |_______| close to getting Demon's Souls but I remembered Bloodborne.

Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan says there's "news to come" on a PlayStation response to Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft's popular subscription-based games service. In an interview with TASS, Ryan was asked about how PlayStation will respond to Game Pass, which has become an increasingly attractive value proposition for Xbox in recent years. While not explaining exactly what the response will be, Ryan did make clear that, "There is actually news to come, but just not today." Source

Are you trying to buy a PlayStation 5? According to boss Jim Ryan speaking with Russian outlet TASS, “absolutely everything is sold”. While there has been a trickle of PS5 stock returning to the retail channel this week, it’s gone in minutes. And the executive has revealed that, after spending much of the year ensuring there’s demand for the machine, now he’s focused on getting enough devices into the market to meet demand. “Everything is sold. Absolutely everything is sold,” he said. “I’ve spent much of the last year trying to be sure that we can generate enough demand for the product. And now in terms of my executive bandwidth, I’m spending a lot more time on trying to increase supply to meet that demand.” We’re still waiting for a press release on PS5’s initial sales figures, but it looks like the company sold every single console it could manufacture. The challenge it now faces is swiftly getting more units into the supply chain, because it looks like the product is poised to be difficult to find for the foreseeable future. Source

Is PS+ only for older stuff, whereas gamepass gives access to the newest games? PS+ is just that you can play games online and you get like 2-3 games for free every month. You can't play PS games online without it. While X-BoxGame Pass (ultimate) let's you play 100s of games for the fee as long as you pay (think of netflix) Not sure how it is now, but I think the equivalent of PS+ is Xbox Live actually PS Now is the equivalent of Game Pass At least this was the case last I checked. Not sure what changed with the new console release

Despite its cancellation 5 years ago, one project that won't die is Kojima Productions' Silent Hills, the survival horror reboot of Konami's Silent Hill franchise from Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima, and Pan's Labyrinth director Guillermo del Toro. Once again, rumors have risen implying that the game is back in development, with Sony collaborating with Kojima Productions and Konami to make the game a PlayStation 5 console exclusive. While this rumor has appeared before, numerous times in fact, this time it comes from an industry insider, YouTuber Moore's Law is Dead, who previously leaked the sequel to 2018's God of War ahead of its announcement. In the latest episode of the Broken Silicon podcast, host Tom, claims that he can "almost confirm" that Silent Hills is in development for PlayStation 5 from Kojima Productions, for announcement at The Game Awards 2020. In the same podcast, he also claims that Demon's Souls remake developer Bluepoint's next game will be a Metal Gear Solid remake, another collaboration with Konami. Reportedly, this remake of Metal Gear Solid has been in development for three years, with PlayStation 5 system architect Mark Cerny directly involved with the game's development. He also claims that despite them being far in development, with gameplay demos ready to be revealed at upcoming events, Sony is waiting to announce the games as it does not want to repeat the mistakes Microsoft made when revealing Halo Infinite. While this report sounds exciting, and it also touches on recent rumors that Sony is acting as a peacekeeper between Hideo Kojima and Konami after the public fallout the famed director had with the company during the months approaching Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain's release in 2015, which resulted in the cancellation of Silent Hills. While it is believable that Silent Hills could be announced at The Game Awards 2020, given Hideo Kojima's relationship with host Geoff Keighley, it is worth noting that Kojima only began development on his next project last month. That said, Death Stranding was announced only six months after Sony announced its partnership with Hideo Kojima, meaning Kojima does have a history of announcing games very early in development. Given that Moore's Law is Dead has yet to reveal his sources, who wish to remain anonymous, it is worth taking this information with a huge grain of salt, especially as the host is mostly echoing previous rumors made regarding Silent Hills for PlayStation 5. Also, given the trouble that Hideo Kojima went through resulting in his very open departure from Konami, it is understandable why the director would not want to reunite with the publisher, along with Guillermo del Toro's claims that he refuses to return to video game development unless it is to collaborate with Kojima, which he did previously, portraying Deadman in Death Stranding. It is also worth mentioning that, while it was initially playable at launch, P.T. was recently made unplayable on PlayStation 5 through backwards compatibility, meaning Konami is still likely trying to make fans forget that Silent Hills was ever a thing.
