And again on lack of real shadows? Every DX3 action screenshot is a firefight. Why does their idea of a stealth completion still involve a takedown? After Deus Ex 2, CoD:MW1/2, Crysis 2, etc. being optimistic about a console game living up to PC standards is the irrational view.

It looks like a regular Modern Warfare level, with a different interface and much worse graphics. That's exactly why it clears up the doubts - the lingering hopeful doubt that PC gamers had about this game possibly being good. What a shame. The graphics look like F.E.A.R., that shooter with the scary girl from 2005. Which is also the year when the hardare for xbox 360 and PS 3 was being developed. I sure hope they release a demo so I won't have to waste 60$ on the game :/

So many games these days have gone down the crapper that I am happy when things resemble what a PC is like 10 years ago.

A PC item bar that has 9 separate weapons allowed kind of clears up doubts that this is a through and through console port considering consoles can only use two, MAYBE three weapons at a time with their Y or Triangle button, if you're going to nitpick. I'm not saying OMG THIS GAME IS SO GOOD NOW LOLHYPEHYPE I'm saying it clears up doubts that this was going to be Crysis 2 tier port.

Yeah the trailers are more action based then stealth based, but even stealth games like the metal gear, splinter cell, and Hitman series's all had trailers that were all action, and many of their gameplay trailers also featured more of a combative then stealth approach. Now I'm not saying that the game will be 100% amazing, I just think it looks somewhat appealing now and I plan to get it.

Many game sites recently got access to the beginning parts of the game and are allowed to report their thoughts on it today. The previews are overwhelmingly positive. Here are some links: Quote from PC Gamer: "It's incredible" http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/05/11/deus-ex-human-revolution-hands-on-the-first-ten-hours/ Quote from Gamersyde: "Graphics aside, Deus Ex Human Revolution seems to possess everything a gamer could wish for: a very deep background, an intriguing story and a good amount of freedom. All we saw lead us to believe that Eidos Montreal actually managed to create a game that will please the fans of the franchise." http://www.gamersyde.com/news_gamersyde_preview_deus_ex_hr-11038_en.html Quote from Gamespot: "Deus Ex: Human Revolution feels like an immense game. Around almost every corner, there was another computer to hack or air duct to explore. However, it was not without its setbacks, particularly the visuals." http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/deusex3/news/6313023/deus-ex-human-revolution-extended-hands-on-preview-first-five-hours?mode=previews&tag=topslot;thumb;5&page=2 Quote from IGN: "I feel like Eidos Montreal nailed the mood of Deus Ex (certainly in some part thanks to the phenomenal electronic soundtrack), and if the early sections of the game are any indication, Human Revolution is on the right path." http://pc.ign.com/articles/116/1167355p1.html Quote from Gamrconnect: "This game isn't just good, it's fantastic." http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=128503 By the way the previews includes play throughs of the PC version of DX:HR as well as consol. My heart is at ease, this game is shaping up to be a hit. I also feel confident with the extra time they have to polish and the pressure from Square Enix to release a triple A title without flaws (to make up for their recent 'failures'). Can't wait to play this game!!!

There is also a really good podcast about the game by PC Gamer UK, some good insight into the game (most of them are Deus Ex fanboys). They talk about throwing fridges at people's heads, how much freedom the game has, AI, and concerns they have etc... Check it out here: http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/05/11/pc-gamer-uk-podcast-54-deus-ex-human-revolution-impressions-special/

I think it's the right moment to stop reading anything about this game, until the D-day.

No, but it is still often considered one of the best of all time. As long as it FEELS like DE, I think this game will be a success and live up to its title name. I really hate the color scheme. Way too brown and yellow. Other than that, it looks like it will be a good game.
